Real problem using Auto Focus in low light conditions, but can be solved using manual focus. Materials feels quite cheap and batteries performance should be something to consider.

LCD Red blossoms are blue Problems: Unfortunately the main use will be flower arrangements and woodland fungi for publication. I am extremely disappointed with the red image in the LCD. Red blossoms are seen as Blue! And a generally flat colour display. Print outs have a slight bias to blue. The camera is now in the post back to Konica for their inspection/adjustment if possible. I would like to know if this has been noticed before. The jury is still out.

I bought this camera in Dec 05, and produced quality pictures in a dificult environment , e.g. skying with minus 15°c or colder conditions. The manual flash opening didn't bother me , nor the battery life, you need to buy high power rechargeable batteries aside anyway. I found the AF incapable of working with the zoom in low light conditions, very annoying. Also difficulty to focus in macro, this AF problems make the shot to shot even slower. Problems: The lower side of the carter on the ...

This is my third digital camera. The first two were absolute P&S with very little manual control. I was skeptical of trying this camera, as I truly had my heart set on the Canon S2 IS, but I decided to give it a shot, based on the opinion of a friend. I can now say (after several weeks and hundreds of pictures) that I am quite satisfied with this camera. It takes very nice pictures and the anti-shake works well. Even with just a couple of regular lamps on in my living room, I can get good ...

My first SLR. Get used to processing images thru PhotoShop. I'd like to rip the CCD out of the Z6 and replace it with one from a Canon. There's a blue cast on the images when I set the light to SUN. I bought it because it had a great lens, a decent body, interchangeable lenses and filters, and lots of control options. I really like the images I get out of it, just wish the camera would process the colours better. On the bright side, it makes a great B&W camera :-) Update: after using the ...

It is probably a rather good value for money first camera, but if it is your second and you are a bit experienced you might consider eg. an equivalent canon or sony. I found several issues and intend to return my device. Problems: 1) The viewfinder is poor and has to be adjusted to the bottom at least on my device and on the device they had at the konicaminolta support. 2) Broad daylight images are ok, but other tend to obtain cyan (no zoom) turning to magenta (zoom) stick. 3) The auto mode ...

Great looking camera, but not so good results. The SD card door comes open with just a brush of your hand, finger or clothing. The color reproduction is not even close and the images are muddy. Sharpness is poor. Slowwwwwww to take a photograph, like digitals a year ago. Dealer convinced me to buy. BIG mistake! Great ZOOM. I used this in Maui and took my Kyocera 410 with me. The Kyocera will not focus in even dim light, but it takes exceptionally great images. Sharp, great color and clear. Th ...

This camera was my upgrade to my Z2 10x optical, they are both great cameras. I like the bigger LCD panel, and the 12x optical really makes a big difference. Problems: Auto option does not seems to provide good natural colors, not until I discovered the vivid option, which I prefered more than natural colors.

For the money spent, I think this was an excellent buy. I bought my DiMage Z6 in September and have quickly taken it through its paces, shooting under a variety of lighting conditions. I've shot well over 1500 photos and have even shot 500+ in a single day with the camera without a hiccup. The picture quality is clean, crisp. The colors are good. The ergonomics are very good, enabling single-handed shots for shooting video. The macrso are great, especially for extreme closeup shots. But it ...

The price for such a camera is quite nice and instantly attracted me to it. The features make this camera easy to use for anyone between a novice and a pro. Unfortunately, a camera is only as good as what the lens and film (sensor in the case of digital) take from what they see. And that popped into my mind shortly after first picking up the demo unit. The sensor is passable and the colors in standard mode are close to real-life. They can have saturation added into them via any photo ...
