Best of the best in this field, meaning 4. I have had the Sony 707, Cannon g2, and the Olympus 380, this camera outshines them all for ease of use, low light is just outstanding, the picture quality is outstanding, combined with the 2 memory types give the camera an added advantage, also downloading pictures is quite simple and fast, the bundled programmes are far and away better that any I have seen. The 400Z may be a PS, but it is the best PS, startup is very fast Problems: None after 3 ...

Very convenient and easy to use yet high quality. So far (4months) very durable. Optional case a must. Highly recomended. Problems: Specialty battery needed in a jam is hard to find.

I was doing quite some research before choosing this camera. First I was looking for bigger high-end cameras but then I decided that I need something that I can always carry in my pocket and it must be at least 4 megapixel. I checked pocket-size models of Sony and Minolta (F100), Kodak, Nikon, Canon. When I saw Konica, the camera had a great quality feeling and all controls were very reasonably placed, there was simply no comparison with other brands. I reviewed image samples and I also liked ...

New boy on the block, hence features/VFM ratings. Changed my entire outlook on recording visual happenings of any sort at ANY time. Bye-Bye 35mm. Have no hesitation in recommending this to everyone. Problems: Wish there had been an instruction manual. Why would anyone want to find out how to load the informationfrom the CD by checking the information on a PC AFTER loading the CD !

I have had this camera for a couple of weeks and since it is my first digital camera I do not have much to compare with. I feel that the construction is very solid, the camera is small and can easily be brought with you at any time. Image quality is excellent when pics are taken in a location with good light, however, in a dark setting the images tend to get a little blurry. It is very easy to use, 10 minutes after opening the box you are on your way. The battery life might be a little short ...

I use this camera for 3 months now. What I like: It's very smal, I take it everywere. It's very easy to use, even my mother can understand it! The pictures are almost always perfect. It's very durable, its strong and the lens is protected when closed. And I think the battery stands out just fine. I've never encounterd an empty battery when I need the camera (I do charge it almost every night). My conclusion: A very good and handy digital camera. Problems: None. But it would be nice if there ...

Konica has designed an absolutely great consumer camera! I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it's proven to be outstanding! I wanted a camera that I could take anywhere with me and not feel the bulk of it stuffed in my pocket. Well I sometimes forget I'm carrying the KD-400Z, it's that light and that small! It has a very solid metal constructed body, with a metal lens cover to protect the lens. The camera is ready to take a picture within 1.5 seconds of sliding the metal lens cover ...

I like the small size of the camera. Problems: - The lens cover slide to the left. I am right handed so I have to get use to it. - One major draw back - No A/V connection. I can't view pictures on my TV from the camera. The only way I can view the pictures are direct from the camera view or download the pictures to my computer. - Problem with red eyes in "auto" mode. If you switch to red eye reduction mode, it will reduce the problem but not eliminate it.

I upgraded to this camera from a Sony DSC-S75. I love my Sony but it's just too large for ever-day use. I paid around $500 for this at B&H in New York and with it bought a carrying case and extra battery. I've been very happy with it thus far. Its got a plethora of advanced features and is the first camera to support both Memory Stick media and SD memory. Its incredibly fast which makes for a terrific "ooh, quick - get a picture of that!" - a problem I had with the Sony which was very slow ...
