I have used over 10 different digital cameras and find that this camera's features does not make up for its shortcomings---and I picked up mine for less than $240 (refurbished). Please keep in mind the following evaluation is based on shooting at mostly high resolution for printing purposes. Pro: small size, metal construction, lens protector, excellent colors, appears to be well made and easy to use. Con: battery inadequate, MMC is about 6 to 7 times the cost of flash cards, tiff files takes ...

Nice camera, dissappointed about the image quality. It is not the quality I had expected from a 3 megapixel camera (very soft). Adobe solves many image quality problems, unfortunately not all. Biggest problem: low light images and auto focus with low light. Battery life very shot as wel. Bought the camera for it's size. With new compact camera's on the way, I would not buy this one again. Problems: Battery life, low light images & auto focus with low light.

This is my second coment on the camera. Just got back from two weeks in Europe and the camera worked out very well. Battery life though short was adequate for most days of shooting. Low lite pictures in churches were solved by steadying the camera on a chair or shelf. size was once again a great advantage. Best $299.00 camera you can buy. (Costco on line) Would buy it again. Problems: Action pictures inside would be fuzzy for people dancing or moving around. Outside in normal lite no problem

Pictures are quite good. Very easy to use. A 64 Mb card is very convenient. Image view is very fast. Settings menu is clear and straigthforward. Battery life is not as long as in other AA-powered cameras. I have purchased additional batteries at www.eurobatteries.net. I think they also carry an external charger. It is great to take your camera everywhere without being a heavyweight. Fits in your pocket. Time delay after a shot is not very long. I find a slight drawback in that one cannot fix ...

This camera has an excellent image quality. It is the smallest in its class, but has such a wonderful quality. The price droped recently. It is a good time to buy it. Problems: The reaction in low light with flash on should be faster. Battery life needs to be improved.

I just got a great deal for this camera ($380 or C$600) and have been playing with it non stop since I got it. The picture quality is great, and it's packed with features: 2,4, or 8 second shutter times. Color settings. Aperture. AF modes, and manual focus is also available. The TV hookup lets you review pics on your TV The Arcsoft imaging software included is okay, but I'll probably stick with Paintshop. I'll play with it a bit more and see what I think. The AVI movie feature offers up to 15 ...

Very solid construction. I dropped my on concrete while shooting, except few scratches on housing nothing happened. Camera works as before. Image quality is superb. I made 30 x 45 cm enlargement and they look fantastic, color saturation and details are among the best I saw. Noise is very low, even when using ASA 400 at those big enlargement noise is har to detect. Very small, very compact, you can take this camera everywhere with you as a perfect backup. Problems: Wery short battery life. I ...

Have also used HP 618 and Nikon 950. The verdict: this Konica digicam is the best choice for amateur - it is small (a real pocketcam) but at the same tme has a lot of nice and handy features. Unfortunatly the 300Z has its cons; battery life is very short and image guality at low lights is poor. But again, if you can make a good bargain, this is the camera to buy. Problems: -

Hi. I've used Konica KD300Z for 2 years now. It's a pretty good digital camera. It's main avantage was to be the first compact camera with a decent price. What I like : - construction - resistance : mine has fallen from 1.5m on stone and has absolutely no dammage. - lots a functions (more than Canon IXUS V) - high resolution - image quality at day light - USB card reader - price What I did not like : - very poor autofocus at low luminosity (it's the major problem I think) - hasardous sensibility

Easy to use, just press the button. It takes good pictures with fine details. The built in flash is ok for most indoor pictures. A small but nice feature is that the picture No# do not reset when you format or change memory card. This mean you will not get confused with a lot of pictures with the same number. Problems: The battery is poor and expensive. In Stockholm, Sweden an extra battery will cost equivalent to 70US$. A second or even a third battery could easy be used if you would like ...
