I have owned this camera for about a year. I love its size, construction and value for money. This is one of the few cameras that also comes with a charger, and a USB Reader (~$20-$30). I also purchased an additional 64mb card. It takes great pictures during the day. However, I have started to encounter two problems: 1. at night, I almost can never focus without a tripod (I don't think its shaking of the hand as the daytime pictures are fine) 2. I took pictures at a party recently ...

I wonder if it´s my screen and printer, or if my particular KD300 is (was!) the cause, but I am NOT at all amused by the image quality and features of this camara. I bought the camara when it was just on the shelves in Holland (dunno when...) and had in Latin America ever since, because I live here. Lost it 2 months ago, stolen... I liked (and I still like) the camara for it´s nice and tiny, no thingies that can break of if it´s in your pocket, the sturdy metallic case. Still the rocking ...

I also bought my Konica KD300z at Costco.com. Actually I bought two; I returned the first one to repurchase the second one at a $100.00 lower price. I like the size and ease of use. I have made nice 5x7s and 8x10s from cropped pictures without problems. The battery life seems short, but I'm usually done before the battery goes dead. Batteries and memory card prices have come way down since my original purchase of this camera. As an experiment that worked out well, I use a Konica MR-70 ...

First digital camera I've used. I wanted a small 3+Mp camera that used SD/MMC storage so I can swap cards with Palm PDA. Pleased so far. Easy to use, seems quick to start up and store images except very large file TIFFs which I've used rarely. Very small and light. Other reviewers commented on soft focus in low light - almost certainly due to handshake. Sharp pictures, and excellent colours, obtained in low light if tripod or stand used with long exposure, no flash and timed shutter release. ...

Got this camera for about 6 months and took about over 2,000 pictures. I use the camera at least 2,3 days a week. I am very happy with it, this is my first forray into this digital image arena and I am ... hook. Construction and size : The small size make it great to carry everywhere but a bit tough to handle if one have big hands. I drop it on my garage concrete floor about 3 weeks after I got it but luckily it landed at the corner of the battery door and still function just fine. I carry this ...

I have been backpacking through Europe with this camera for 2 months, and I had a lot of fun with it. Enjoyed lots of admiration from the fellow backpackers, and although battery life is rather short, it is not a problem because I can recharge it every few days in the hostels. If the camera is not continuously on then the battery can last a lot longer. It is very easy to transfer files at ANY Internet cafes throughout Europe because of the MMC reader that is supplied with the camera. I was ...

A very small camera with great results. Picture quality doesn't seem to be better than for instance the 2.1 megapixel from the Canon Ixus, but the camera is smaller and lighter. And what is also important: this camera is very easy to use. With this camera you take the pictures you don't take with other cameras, for the very simple reason that you can take this tiny little thing with you where ever you go (be carefull though: don't loose it). Problems: Battery life is short, but you can ...

I paid Singapore dollar $1000 for it i think it's abit expensive compared to those who bought it at US$300. Overall a very good digital camera for first timers! This is my first camera but have tried afew of my friends one before. I love the picture qualities Problems: Battery life is really really short...A must to carry extra batt. Another bad point it no external battery charger as yet. And if light is low mus take near near if not if far far take photo will be real dark

Excellent for those who need a very compact, solid, and easy to use digital camera. Not for professional use,but a nice all-arounder,i carry it everywhere, point & shoot. For other uses,it has to be the second one.GOOD print quality, lots of other features.SOME OWNERS,mention some problems with flash-mode & capture-image,but if you know some things, you can take good pictures,WITH EXP.COMPENSATION , ISO SENSITIVITY & METERING MODE,manually changed. My verdict:TAKE IT, or LEAVE IT!!! Problems: Unfort ...

I bought this camera from Costco online. 3 days later, it broke. The pictures would not save to the memory card. It would try, and after about 30secs, it showed a error #87 and shut-off. Tech support was no help. I had to return it, which sucks because it seemed like a cool ultra-compact cam.
