I like the design of this camera : easy operation, light weight, nice features like 3x optical zoom for Canadian$400 is hard to find. Operation is easy but not very fast acting. the 5-point button is not too bad to use once you get used to it, it actually works quite well. Don't rely on optical viewfinder, unless you want to shut off the LED display to save power. It only shows above 80% of the picture taken. Picture quality is quite good, sharpness suffers from high file compression with ...

Hello, Just got this camera a week ago and think its pretty good for beginners etc. I used to own a Sony DSC-p20(1.3Mp), so this would be a plus over the Sony. A value for money and size. Though I did purchased a MMC(multimedia) card and found that it runs really slow on this camera, compared to the supplied SD card. Taking it back to the shop for a SD card. Love this little baby. Problems: No problems so far. The lens cap absenty doesn't bother me much as you could get a camera bag and that ...

This camera is an excellent value. Full featured camera for a 2 MP. Pictures are great, color is beautiful, easy to use. Good snapshot camera. Has enough features to take pictures in most conditions, while not so many features that you have to be an expert to use it. Be aware this is the same camera as the Minolta Dimage S203 with a different case. Due to a business agreement between Minolta and Konica, they have been sharing technology and marketing. This camera has Minolta lenses. ...

Stronly recommend this unit as a stepping stone for first time digital camera users but I understand Konica has dis-continued the 200z model. Great little unit, light weight and very, very easy to use. The MMC / SD memory format is great in combo with the supplied USB cable - the image quality / colour repro for the price is outstanding, all round a top piece of entry level kit from Konica. Problems: Hmmm, kinda slow when swapping from Still to AVI to Black & White modes but apart from ...

It really blows me away that Konica discontinued this outstanding little camera and never tried to market it. A real shame. Maybe the low price was their way of cleaning out the inventory. Must be getting out of the business. Problems: None

I have make compares with Canon' s Powershot A20 and they are both perfect camera's but I have chosen for the Konica 200Z because of his excellent use of batteries and the handsome format. But when i use the camera i must say that the image quality is better than expect. I won't miss this little friend anymore and he can always with me because of his size. And yes its nice that many features can be used while the color-screen is not in use. Problems: No lens-cap!

Purchased at Costco online for 200$ after rebate. Very happy with camera so far. Takes good pictures. I do not recommend mmc memory as the camera writes to it much slower. AA batteries only good for a few pictures. Recommend rechargeables. Problems: Should come with case and lens cap.

Great picture. Great resolution for a 2 meg and good color saturation. I would prefer a quick-review button rather than the 3 second review you get...impossible to decide to keep or delete in that amount of time. I don't care for the SD memory as it is more expensive. Problems: Had to return my camera to Costco as the 5-way toggle switch was defective. I sent it to Konica for repair or replacement and they were no help... they returned it to me without resolving the problem. But, I did ...

I have had this camera a week now and am very satisfied with it. Its very easy to use in taking pictures and easy to upload to pc using the included cable. I am happy with the picure quality so far too. In fact, I purchased a card reader but haven't used it and may return it. I essentially bought it to store pics on my pc more so than printing and it seems perfect for this. I like the fact you have the display that shows the camera modes etc without having to turn on the LCD screnn. I ...

Very easy camera to use without any prior experience. Excellent price/quality ratio specially as bought from costco at 200$ (tax & ship). Excellent images even with very little light, due probably to the 2.8 aperture. In this case a bit slow, but that can be corrected by prepressing the shutter button. One could regret that there is only JPEG. The little movie system is fun and OK. First download to PC was extremely easy. There should be a protection for the lens. Would have bought the Fuji ...
