Opinion: I use it for aerial photography. 90% of the time not higher than 160iso, on
the occaisons I have used 400iso it has also worked verywell.
The colour from this camera is very good, I also have found the exposure to
be faultless. I shoot RAW and the dynamic range I find to be wonderfull, you
can almost dial up the exposure that looks best on your computer after the
event. Noise is as good as non-existant. ISO 6 is good to have for something
different.
Any portraits I have shot produce beautifull skintones, better and smoother
than any film I have used.

Problems: Any problems I had, Kodak have fixed with firmware updates. My main
concern now is finding lenses that can deliver the resolution across the frame.
I don't like the way the battery indicator goes from full to less than half in one
jump. You also need to be prepered to deal with moire patterns more than
some cameras, as the Kodak does not have a AA filter.
ACR is a must use when dealing with RAW files from this camera, it eliminates
the xmas tree effect that will dissapoint if you use the supplied Kodak
software.

Opinion: I recently bought the camera used knowing that I would handle it like a medium format body: often on a tripod, working slowly and methodically. This is not a camera for most purposes. Shoot only in Raw at base ISO, expose carefully using the histogram display and built in densitometer (a GREAT feature), and learn the sensor limitations. You will be rewarded with amazing images with great dynamic range and tonal delicacy. Each image needs some post-processing, but the results are worth it. Extensive menus with great flexibility.
The often overlooked 6mp Raw feature produces smaller, extremely smooth files with very little noise. Probably the best 6mp files of any camera at ISO 160.

Problems: Unfortunately, Kodak built on a mediocre (but comfortable to use) Nikon body. Too bad that they couldn't use something pro grade.
Be careful about lens selection, however the camera is not as fussy as you might think. Some inexpensive lenses work well, while some outstanding lenses are terrible on this camera. Experiment.
Don't judge the image quality by what most reviews show. It really takes some learning and adjustment to develop a satisfying workflow. I was discouraged by the first images that I took straight out of the camera. Don't think of it as a tool for casual snapshots.

Opinion: Wonderful results after a long learning path. Stay below 400. I miss higher flash sinc speed (it´s 125) and lower base ISO. Body could be better. JPGs are no good. The good news is that at 160 and well exposed its quality is astonishing... I put my Mamiya RB to sleep.

Problems: All big problems such as color casts have been solved by Kodak. This camera does not lie, if you don´t get good results out of it it´s your fault. But of course it ain´t for photojournalists, sports shooters and the kind

Opinion: Mine is the 14nx with 512 ram and a see-through media door, so it is the same as the slr/n except for power management. Stunning image quality under the right conditions. Difficult to acquire proficiency on this camera - leads to negative opinions by reviewers and other new users. Nearly all images require post-processing - camera doesn't produce photographs; it collects data that the user can employ to produce photographs.

Problems: Died while on vacation. Repaired by Kodak to even better state than before failure. Good people in Rochester.
