Opinion: I bought this when I decided to get back into photography after several years off.

It has a good focal range (although something a little wider would be preferred) and the user interface is outstanding.

The EasyShare software (not the camera's fault) could offer some more options, but it's generally pretty good.

Size is perfect for carrying around.

I did invest in an after-market shade for the view screen since it's almost impossible to see in bright light without some assistance.

Problems: No mechanical or optical problems.

Opinion: I have owned a lot of digital cameras in the last ten years (more than I care to
remember). Many of those are DSLRs. I would consider this to be one of the best
cameras I have I owned. It is a joy to use. Feels very sturdy and robust. Ergonomic
layout is fantastic. Images it produces are superb. 1600iso is not really useable but
for a digital compact ISO performance is very impressive. The price is unbelievably
low. You get much more than what you pay for. This is the camera I am most likely
to throw into my pocket. In fact I hate leaving it behind. This camera reminds me
that Kodak have been making cameras for a hundred years.

Problems: Just a few quibbles, not problems really.

It would have been nice if a there was a viewfinder
On/off switch is a little too close to selector dial

Opinion: some retail store chain offered me this camera at a very reasonably cheap price because markets do not buy kodak any more, and i got it.i returned it,when i became to know that there are several latest high tech cameras has just arrived in the market with a blaze of glory.but i returned them too just because of image quality, image stabilization even at 10x,holding,solid design, flash, colors, low light and some more features of KODAk Z 915.The camera which won many remarkably very good positions among high prices and high tech cameras. To begin DSLR photography and to understand the manual photography,KODAK z 915 is the best choice with shutter, aperture,Exposure compensations and colors choices.Go ahead.every one who is keen, must have this camera just beside other expensive models. An excellent choice for professional photographers if DSLR for some reason does not solve the purpose.GO ahead 5 stars from me.I have an album " Kodak Z 915 "with out touch of any photo tools.Check it out

Problems: For the feature to price ratio, none.
