Opinion: Excellent compact digital camera.
Would recommend without hesitation if your looking for an easy to use point and fire camera.
Simple and comfortable to use with a logical layout of controls
Picture quality is excellent in a variety of lighting conditions

Problems: Does not auto rotate shots taken in portrait mode.
No shutter speed sound, I like to know something has happened!!!

Opinion: For the price a good camera. With enough manual controls
to cover most picture situations.

Opinion: It's a good camera in $150~$200. It has a pretty wide range of optical zoom, and is easy to use.

Problems: The function of auto-flash sometimes won't make good judgment to work. For example, when the scene is bright enough, it will make a flash shot with shutter = 1/250 s. However, the object is above 5 m, so it's not a effective flash, and the picture is a little dark.

Opinion: Kodak is my first digital camera. I have had it since october 2005. But today this
camera doesn't satisfy me no more because of the things listed below.

But this is a quite good camera for a family, who wants to perpetuate theyr doings,
because z700 is easy to use and doesn't weight much to carry it around everywhere!

Problems: Here are some problems that bothered me:

1) Depth of field can be quite a nasty thing.. it chooses itself what stays blurry and
what stays in focus, and 70 percent of the time it chooses the background?! to stay
in focus

2) z700 has a very long opening time..so its very possible, that you will miss some
great shot, what could have been a million dollar pic

3)Sometimes the release got confused, and didn't take the picture

+ it has only 4megapixels and a 5x zoom.
