Opinion: Great pictures! Large icons on LCD display.
Easy to understand and use.

Problems: Gap between auto-focus and shoot, just too long.
Sending this one back for refund.
Great camera, if you don't need quick snapshots.

Opinion: Not too impressed. I actually took the camera back. I used a Kodak DX camera before and "upgraded" to the V1003. It sure is a cute little camera with tons of features & easy set ups for may occasions, however if you take pictures of children or take in low lighting conditions, you won't be impressed. I would push the button, call my child's name, and then the picture would take - - too much time required to take pictures. If you have children you would understand that this will not work every time you take a picture. As for the low light situations, the pictures were blurry & they had ghost images. We took the camera on a trip with us and most of the pictures were taken in a convention center & we were very disappointed with the pictures, even after trying the camera in several different modes.

Problems: Too slow from shot-to-shot & from the time the button was pushed to the time the camera actually took the picture (especailly with the flash on).

Pictures were very blury & had ghost images when taken in low lighting.

Needless to say, we returned the camera and we're now enjoying our Canon ELPH camera much better! My photo qualities are very important to me because of my love of scrapbooking! & I think that we will be pleased with our ELPH purchase.

Opinion: Disappointing. Too slow

Problems: I took the camera back for 2 reasons. First reason; it kept dying on me for no reason. Removing and reinserting the battery every time is very annoying just to get the thing to work. Second reason; the more important reason I feel, The delay between click and shutter is totally unacceptable for a camera of this price. Far too slow. Sorry Kodak i wanted to enjoy this camera but just couldn't. Infuriating !
