Opinion: This is a great little camera. Very fast focus ( faster than the Canon G9 ).
Great picture's and features plus solid construction.
Battery life is looong, i can take around 450 pictures with a recharge.
Problems: Very small viewfinder.
Opinion: The tough metalic body can stand up to a lot more punishment that one might reasonably expect - My 4 year old daughter has managed to deal it several knocks, any one of which should have been the death-blow, but it keeps defying expectations by turning on and continuing to capture compelling images :-)
Problems: The color is over-saturated and unrealistically "vivid" by default, and the flash is pretty much only good for placing that lovely "waxy sheen of death" on your subjects at Halloween parties...
Opinion: This is my first DigiCam, so far I'm very happy with it. Considering the image quality, desktop charging feature, big internal MEM (32 MB).
Opinion: First digital camera for me. It is overall a good camera.(Not outstanding, but good)
Problems: I knew nothing about digi-cams when I bought this one, and then I found out that you cannot save any custom settings (ISO, Flash, etc). It is a real PAIN to have to reset everything every time the camera is turned on again.
Opinion: Before I bought this camera, I compared Kodak LS753 to Canon S500, Nikon Coolpix 5200 and Sony DSC P100. I found that Kodak was most worth one in terms of picture quality, size, weight and easy use. I take pictures for my kids in different sense. I take them in fast moving roller coaster, fire works, and ocean beach. The camera works smoothly. Photo picture quality is great.
Problems: The picture quality is excellent. But, the image quality in 1.8" LCD view on the camera is poor. This camera dose not process the image for 1.8" LCD view.
Opinion: Ease of use, plenty of settings for any kind of digital photography, compact, and kind of cool. A great addition to anyones camera bag.
Opinion: This is a very good quality camera, clarity is excellent and ease of use is fantastic. My wife who is not into technical things loves it. The software is very good and again so easy to use.
I looked at all the other brands and there seemed to be something in each that was not up to what they should be except for the Kodak LS. I don't use the video.
We have used it for moving subjects and low light and they havce all come out excellent. Quality at a fair price.
Problems: none
