I couldn't buy a better digital cam with as good of quality - megapixels - ease of use for the same money....all the others I compared - Canon SD10 and Kyocera LV4 or LV3 had 4mp or less and most reviews for it were below par for my liking - so far this camera has exceeded my expectations and I love it Problems: none so far

Good: It is a great 5MP P&S camera for the price. It is very easy to use. The Macro feature can produce great close up. Movie feature can capture up to whatever capacity the memory card has. Color is vivid (rather than Natural). Excellent for beginner users. since everything is Auto. Could improve on: Shutter Lag, chromatic aberration is pronounced (purple fringing), flash exposure can be better, could have a manual exposure mode (but for this price you won't expect this)

This is a well priced camera that takes excellent pictures. It's construction could be better, the lens cap is easy to bump off and a few of the covers, the easy share one for example, can bump open and I put tape over them immediately. The software is ok. I had read a few things about spyware, this is kodak's software updater and I turned it off anyway. It has a decent flash. Battery life seems ok. I don't use the LCD when I am taking photo's only to review. I use the view finder. The ...

I am new to digital photography, but I selected the DX4530 because it seemed to provide all the right features at the right price. While manual controls are limited, the automated features are all you need to 'point and shoot'. The camera feels good in the hand and is extremely easy to use. I was up and running in less than a couple of minutes. The 5mp produce crisp, clear, realistic photos and 32mb onboard memory ensure that you are taking photos as soon as you open the box. I bought the ...

My camera that will be in the glove compartment of my car. I can't judge this against the Fuji S2 Pro, which usually stays at home because of its size, or against Sony 828, the new 8 MP camera, which is also large and heavy and I take it with me only for specific sessions. But the 300 USD Kodak will be with me all the time, to capture the moments you usually see but have no means to take a photo. Now comes the surprising part. Kodak 4530 gives excellent photos with saturated colors (like old ...

I just tried my new purchase, and am pleasantly surprised. it answers all my needs even at medium image resolution Body firm, though made of some plastic, fine images, easy to hold, internal memory 32 MB thats a big upgrade from my Mustek MDC 800 0.9 MP fixed lens old brick Maybe other cameras are somewhat better, but with the price of 299 euros I find it quite a bargain for cost-conscious users Two thumbs up !! Problems: One thing really sux - the optical viewfinder cuts margins of the ...

I bought this DX4530 recently (10 days back) and was trying to understand it. The half press feature for focus and shutter time adjustment is really irritating. Most of the time the focus is not achieved in close up shots ( < 60 cm) But on closed room shots, I found the picture quality was very good. There is a great deal of problem in shots realted to moving objects also because focussing takes quite a time. Problems: so far none

This is by far the best digital camera that I have owned. I had a Sony, Toshiba and HP digital camera in the past, but this surpasses them all. All of the basic features are present with theis camera. It is a great camera for beginers as well as it is very simple to use. Don't let the simple use fool you however, because the quality of the pictures is that of a great camera. Problems: Keeping friends/family hands off of this camera, they all love it!
