Opinion: I purchased the DX3500 to replace a Polaroid 640x480 camera. This camera has exceeded most of my expectations for the price, <$300.00usd it delivers very crisp 2.2 megapixel pictures. The refresh rate is also very fast (around 2 seconds). In all a great value.
Problems: Battery life is a bit short as it only uses 2 AA batteries. Also you need the docking station, I did not get it and I am regretting it just for the greater ease of use and the NiMH battery pack.
Opinion: Worth the money for this gem of a camera. Simple use and downloading (problems though, see below). Very easy to use software.
Problems: Have problems with downloading images in Windows 2000. Kodak has no answers. Work around is to go in to properties and click ok, wierd but it works.
Opinion: I have just bought this camera in Malaysia & it comes with the Easyshare dock. This is the most easiest to use camera in town. Good & crisp pictures. The Easyshare dock is a multi-voltage adapter, quick charger (in approximately 1 hour) and a USB card reader. Furthermore, its capability to use both (the given) re-chargeable battery, AA and CRV3 Lithium gives another advantage. The availability of internal memory is most useful when my daughter misplaced my CF card.
Problems: Not yet.
Opinion: Great Indoor Pictures... Great Outdoor pictures too!
VERY EASY to use - point & click! Excellent IF YOU DONT NEED ZOOM... digital zoom is worthless!!! If you need any kind of zoom look into the DX3600 or another model.. The LCD in bright outdoors is hard to see... Excellent Value for money... Batteries last a long time! Even using the LCD all the time..
Problems: None at all..
