Opinion: Does what you expect; point, zoom, shoot. USB download is fast enough for bringing in 30 pictures at a time. Grand resolution with 650K files!
Problems: No preview mode when controlling shots through the computer access.
Opinion: Good quality of picture. Easy to use. Fast transfer file from camera to computer using USB. Good software provide.
Problems: Zoom switch (T-W) must use index finger and place next to shutter, should used thumb instead.
Opinion: Well made rugged little camera. Easy to use and transfer to computer. Pleasantly surprised by the length of time use from batteries
Problems: Cords which come with camera should be labelled
Opinion: Have the 210Plus and still love it! The 3400 makes the pix from the 210 look much less detailed. I can count my cat's whiskers and fur with this one! Ease of use is just as simple and with my USB card reader the downloads are lightening fast. Additional features are neat, but for me the ease of point and shoot and delete the bad pix has made my 35 mm a dust colklector. No more wasted roll of film for the 3 good pix I wanted!!!!!!
Problems: Need to get used to the prefocus on the shutter. Sometimes it won't let me take a shot!
