Opinion: This my second digital camera
Constuction :Feel quite solide ,small problem with the battery trap which feel a bit loose
Features: Quite complete ,but lack of manual control.
Fast to react
Image quality:Excellent specially in bright sunny day with
beautyffuly saturated colors a little bit like high quality slide films ,more a 4,8/4,9 rating than a 4,5.
Ease of use:No need to read the user manual
Value for money:One of the best (august 2004)
Plus
AA Battery/Fast to react/Picture quality

Value for money:Probably(August 2004)the best value

Problems: Lack of manual controls.

Opinion: I was looking for a good and reasonably quick "point and shoot" camera and this one defenitly defines that status. You can easily pick it out of your pocket ,choose the right "preset" mode on the dial and shoot right off there and the pictures becomes stunningly great from use like that. If anything the picture quality in macro is not as edge sharp as i would like it to be but this camera is the one for you who wants just what i stated first here !

Best value for the money without a doubt for a 4Mpix camera with auto functions you can rely GOOD on for point and shoot photography !

In fast shutter mode (called sports) i caught my cockatiel flying at full speed and the wings were point sharp even though he flew really really fast ! Pic got great !

Feels really solid. You really need to bang it to break it i think.

Problems: None yet.

Opinion: The camera is easy to use and quite well made. It gives good results when shooting subjects which are not far away . The lens seems to be good at wide angle but average at tele position. I am however very desapointed by the results obtained when I take a pictures of a landscape . Most of the details are lost at the back. Obviously the compression and/ or the noise correction system is making a bad job. It is even worse when the camera is set to 200 or 400 Iso .
In comparaison an older Nikon coolpix 3100 gives much more acceptable pictures without all the artefacts observed with this Kodak 4mega pixels. I do not like this camera . I would certainly not buy one again

Problems: It is not possible to keep any of the specific settings .Everything returns to the standard values at switch off. Frustrating
