Terrific EasyShare camera has 3.1MP,a nice choice of scene modes, a 3x zoom lens and takes great images. The desin is quite compact with a mode dial on top (also acts as a power on/off), LCD on back with 4 way navigator, shsre, delete, menu, info/flash,burst buttons. The 3x zoom lens has a nice focal length of 37mm-111mm and a impressive 10x digital zoom. What's good about the digital zoom-even at 10x, a clear mage can be captured without any annoying artifacts. Thee is no white balance ...

I bought this camera for my sister who needs simplicity and a point and shoot type camera. The photo quality is very good and camera easy to use. With the monitor set at the default to display only after taking a photo rather than being on all the time, the batteries lasted quite a long time. I would recommend this camera for anyone wanting a simplistic camera that takes good photos. Problems: none

Good value for money at $150 or less. Pictures have good color balance and sharpness within the limits of 3MP and flash range. Construction is rugged albeit in plastic. It's a perfect 2nd camera or for kids. Unlimited video with audio is not spectacular but a bonus. Problems: Flash a bit weak and slow to recycle. You have to reset date/time if batteries are out for more than a few seconds.
