Opinion: After using my camera for some time I have som pro's and con's:
+ cheap (the cheapest dig cam I have ever bought)
+ 5 megapixels
+ small and handy
+ using SD cards and standard AA batteries
++++ suprisingly you can adjust EV and ISO values
- The lcd screen is slow (inhouse it is very dark)
- The lense cover seems cheezy (easy to open by mistake)
- Fixed focus objective... (always a little blurry)
- Macro range from 60 cm to 1 meter!!! (joke...)
- 16Mb internal memory
- many reviews state that the movie format is 360x240. the truth is approx 280*210? The quality is quite poor. The sound is a joke. I recorded a Harley Davidson the other day and the sound flickers.
- The camera have problems with representing true colors. Green grass varies from sick green to light brown
All-in-all. I have got a good cam for a fantastic price.
Problems: A SD card formatted in the cam gave me a bit trouble when i connected it to my card reader in my PC (XP).
When I loaded the card with files from the PC i got a message from Explorer that there was an error with some of my files. After reformatting the card in the PC it worked.
