Still ticking since Oct. 98 . Have pictures from every situation possible. The ultimate point and shoot. Great ergonomics. Low light ability ( flash off) is spectacular for fireworks etc. Flash is natural and very flattering...People cant believe its so old and 1 megapixel due to the excellent exposures and color balance. Problems: Slow download, HP photo software quirky get a flash reader and use Picture It and you'll be set.

I'm using this camera for ~2 years. It is good first digital camera, because it is very easy to use it. Action pictures usually are very bad and completely out-off focus. If used smartly can make good static pictures. Recomended usage - make biggest pictures and than decrease size in PhotoShop - overall quality and focus will be better than just making normal size picture on photo. Problems: Verrrry short battery life. Use re-chargeable bateries instead. Had problems with screen fonts, but ...

An early, bulky digital that doesn't compare to the Nikons or other later, smaller cameras for sharpness of image. But it's basically bulletproof, and adequate if you aren't looking to make blowup prints. To get the price down, HP cheaped out on the lens. Problems: None, except it eats batteries. Carry lots of double-A's.

Clean, clear, fully saturated photos. Easy to use. A battery miser once you turn off all the extra automatic features (I got over 300 shots on one set of batteries). A wonderful first digital camera. Or a wonderful quick, easy, uncomplicated point and shoot extra camera for when you don't want to mess around with all the adjustments on your high end camera. If you can find one used, snap it up. Problems: No zoom. Slow download via the serial connection. Bulky.

I have had this camera sonce Christmas of 1998 and have taken hundreds of photographs with it, some of them are just amazing. I have dropped it many times and thought it was broken for sure but it just keeps on clicking away. I took photos at a friends wedding that turned out better than the professional photographers. I have learned how to use the software to make adjustments to my photos that have really improved the final apperance. I just love this camera. Problems: It does eat ...

Very fine camera. I own this camera for 2 years without problems. Also in the dark the camera makes sharp photo's of everything wat is within 2 meters from the camera, for objects on a larger distance the flash is not strong enough. When you have a window in the center of the photo, the photos are getting very dark.

I have owned mine for almost 2 years and I love it... when other peoples cameras wouldn't work, like low lighting situations... mine always brings home good pictures.
