I bought my camera in October of 2001, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of pictures it takes and how simple it is to use. Since most of my picture taking is done indoors, I got an inexpensive AC adapter (not the one recommended by HP that costs 1/3 to 1/2 of the camera price either) and it really saves on batteries. When I do take my camera with me, I use rechargeable batteries and to save them even further I use the AC adapter to download the pictures to my computer, which ...

i really havent had any problems with this camera. it does eat battery's pretty quick, but now im using 1700 mAh NiMH batteries, and ive taken over 150 pics and have yet to change the batteries. the quality of the pics is great for a 1.3 MP camera. I dont know why so many others are having problems mine seems to be working great :) Problems: Eats batteries...use 1700 mAh NiMH batteries to resolve this ;)

Dpreview is magic!!! Problems: All'inizio con le batterie, risolto con le Ni-Mh. Un pò lenta, ma va bene così. Presto mi ...

This is an entry level digital camera. It doesn't work well when the batteries are low, so make sure you have the 1700 mA NiMh rechargeables, and get the 32 Meg card. I like the simple controls, the dial for scrolling and selecting. This camera takes good interiors with available light, and in macro mode can record copies of your existing 4" x 6" prints. I took all the pictures needed for a website (you want the low-resolution for faster downloading), and they look great. I'm now looking ...

I read many of the reviews on this camera. Let me start off by saying this "Do not expect the performance of a Porsche when you own a Beetle". Having said that, a Beetle is a good reliable car and this is a good relaible camera. I haven't experienced any problems with loading pics to my computer, but I do have a ScanDisk for that function (wouldn't go any other way). I never even loaded the camera software to my computer (only that of the ScanDisk). This camera does what it was intended ...

I bought this camera a year ago and thought I would wait before I commented on it. I use rechargeable batteries and am still using the ones I bought. We have taken about 1000 pictures with it. For the price it is great. I down load, to my computer with a Sandisk and I find that it works very well. I also use Paint Shop Pro for any touch up of sorting I need to do. I take the batteries out when I am finished. It really really eats power. Again for the price now, it works for me. Problems: It ...

This little camera is wonderful for a beginner! Bought it for my 12 yr old, and it is simple, with good features, and surprisingly very good image quality for a 1.3 mega pixel camera. Problems: The only thing we have found is that this camera LOVES batteries!!!!
