I've had the 720 for a few months and like it's construction, but that's pretty much it! I'm surprised that HP made this camera as it has a poor quality picture and should never be purchased for the use of active families, or families that even move at all. Pictures are dissapointing at times but some still shots have satisfied me. In light of this problem, the digital zoom is a complete rightoff and the optical zoom barely tolerable. The viewing screen is fuctional but freezes up from time ...

For its price, it is quite good. when taking photos outdoors, their quailty is extremely good, even with the lowest quality (of 640x800) and size of 60K. when taking 2star photos, it takes 800K (it has same resolution like 3star, with the difference of jpeg comp.) the video is very comfy & very good quality. In short worth the 260$ i paid for it. Problems: disadvanteges: 1. when taking pics indoors, sometimes the photos gets not as clear as we'd like, but it could be overlooked. 2. when ...

I think it's a good buy First of all: sorry for my English. I bought it a few days ago and I'm very happy with this camera. In Spain is very difficult to find a 3,3 megapixeles resolution under 450 € (the same in dollars). I payed for it 299 and it includes a pack with a SD 32 Mb card, four rechargeable batteries, a battery charger and a hp camera bag. The photos quality, under my point of view, is very good and the software is good too. Problems: I've only encountered two problems: the ...

I purchased this camera a week ago. Have used it every day since. Exceeded my expectations. Problems: 16 mb internal memory is not enough. I purchased a 128mb flash card which is just enough. Any smaller card would have been too little memory for my use. I also purchased a dock and 1850 nimh batteries. The dock is also a recharger....so I have no complaints. (normal alkaline batteries were used up too fast.)

First of all - don't let your self be fooled about pictures of the camera itself - it looks 5 times as nice when you have finnaly opened the box :) (very interesting rubber like plastic and rubber finish - and just the right size) Camera makes perfect charp images in daylight. Colors are also brilliant...compared to normal cameras(I hate when quality depends on where you take them for proccessing). Camera has very naturally understandable menus and position of buttons (just where you'll be ...

Like the others, after reading the good reviews about the good quality of this camera on this site and on StevesDigicams.com, I chose to buy this cheap and non-famous camera. Since almost everybody was talking about how good the quality of the pictures was, I thought I could ignore the other shortcomings of it. Yet after using it for a period, I must say that I am very disappointed with this camera: the quality of the pictures is not as good as they have described, the pictures do not have ...

Pros: - VERY easy and simple to use - nice design, good grip (thanks to rubberized plastic casing), solid feel - great for the price - you get 3,3MP for the price of 2,1MP - some useful manual controls: ISO, White Balance, Exposure Compensation - very good image quality with flash - dedicated movie button for instant recording of 30 sec. clips (MPEG) - burst mode (around 1,5 fps) Cons: - slow USB transfer speed (HP marketing is to blame here) - no medium resolutions (1024x768 would have been ...

Very good camera and neat price. Rubber surface is handy. Problems: viewing pictures too fast will lock the camera. Reset button is needed.

I bouth this camera one month ago. It worked good, but when I bouth SD card my camera could not recognize it. So they changed camera. It was good still started make red or violet images and sometimes could not focus. Sometimes it changed colors red - green... I send back it and I am going to buy Minolta F100. I think HP 720 is to bulky and to hard. I was thinking to buy 850, but I do not want risk one more time. I was very possitive about HP cameras, but better to buy only HP printers.
