Several reviewers of the X-Pro2 state that it has a feature that automatically switches the OVF magnification between .36x and .6x so it will best match the lens you have mounted. My old X-Pro1 did just that, but the X-Pro2 doesn't. Switching the magnification manually works just fine, but the camera doesn't do it by itself when I switch lenses. Did anyone else notice this? I wonder if I might be doing something wrong, but can't find a setting to enable or disable this feature or anything...

Alex White (White Knight Press) has always written the best guides for some cameras, I find his Panasonic Lumix LX series (3 to 100) the best there are and I still resource to them once in a while when using my LX cameras, I'm no stranger to the Fuji X series and I'm familiar with the X-Pro1, X-E1, X-E2 and X100T. However, my X-Pro2 arrived today and I've barely installed the strap and superficially explored the menus. Although I know the X-Pro1, X-E2 and X100T by heart, the X-Pro2 is so much...

I got one cheap $350 with 3 batteries near mint for fun.  I shoot Manual with Samyang lens on this camera, I have some question about it: 1. The Live View is look like other mirrorless, but when I hold the shutter button, the Live View change, look like the shadow is bighter. Does it about Auto D-range ? I tried set D-Range to 100%, still the same, Have anyway to turn off that feature ? 2. I see the Exposure column, but I don't see anyway to set/change exposure like my other mirrorless. Is it...

I have a pretty tight budget and planning a trip to Havasu Falls this june and despite my Canon 5D classic providing me some 8+ years of great service (proms, kids portraits, street photography) I can not justify taking the brick 10 miles on the hike.. I have a 14mm ( Rokinon) and 50mm 1.4 (Sigma) that would work great but thats a lot of weight and I think today's cameras would offer me a very different prospective. I think I will still keep it as the return from selling it would be...

The X-T1 came out around 2 years after the X-Pro1 (?). Do you think we'll have to wait for 2 more years before the X-T2 is here (2 years after the X-Pro2)?

Hi, I sold my X-T1 and X-E1 and stick for the time beeing with my X-Pro1. I like the RF style more with OVF. Now I am thinking whether to buy additionally to my 23/1.4 also the new 35/2.0 WR. I like both FL, but for me the deciding factor is the AF speed and AF accuracy in daylight and lowlight (for kids etc.). Do these two lenses differ in speed and accuracy on the old X-Pro1 or are they the same in this regard and the limiting factor is the X-Pro1? Please no theoretical assumptions, just...

I bought an X-Pro1 back at the launch of the X series. The feature that sold me on the line was the optical viewfinder, so I haven't been interested in any of the intervening models.  The reviews & previews I've seen for the XP2 all reference the more recent Fuji x-series cameras (X-t1, etc). Since the other x-series cameras perform better than the XP1, comparisons to them are not that enlightening for me personally. Has anyone found a review that directly compares the X-Pro1 to the X-Pro2?

I've been looking at getting an x100 as a secondary camera for a while now, but I simply won't have the money for one in the foreseeable future. In the meantime, I noticed XPro 1s selling at ~$500 USD body only, which got me curious. Initially, I thought the biggest issue would be the fact that it's an APS-C sensor rather than a full frame sensor. I don't have very many lenses and the ones I do have are only compatible with EOS systems, my primary lens being a Sigma 50mm F/1.4. I like the...

Hi there, being an eyeglasses wearer I rely heavily on my x-pro1 ovf for framing under the sun. While af frame correction seems good, frameline correction does not correct as it should based on the af correction and I always end up shifting the camera to get closer to the captured frame. To those lucky enough among us who already played with the camera: is the x-pro2 any better in that department? Thanks! Marcello --http://www.flickr.com/photos/marcelloziniMarcello
