I need help deciding which camera to buy. Im a beginner, I previously owned a Canon EOS Rebel XSI, until it broke. Know I want a mirrorless systems camera. DSLR's are too big, and i want a camera for personal use. Mainly i will use it for landscape/nature photography, as well as everyday use. I want a camera that has good picture quality and that i can keep for several years to come. My budget is $500-$650 (lens included) So far, i have looked at: Olympus OM-D E-M10 Sony A6000 Fujifilm X-E1...
Hi I'm wondering which body I should choose to go with the 35mm f1.4. I quite enjoy The main issue here is that I can get the lens with the X-E2 for ~$1350 AUD whereas it costs ~$1600 AUD for the X-T10. I come from mainly a point and shoot background, have owned compact cameras and iPhones, but have had some use with DSLRs but haven't owned any. I will not be shooting moving targets, at most just friends at parties but mainly things such as landscapes, food, some portraiture and flowers. I...
I have tried every setting in the book (I think), but I cannot prevent the AFL from refocusing when I just want it to lock focus (in the most basic of settings: S, single point focus). Of course, when I keep the camera pointed at exactly the same spot where I autofocused with the shutter button, it doesn't make a difference. But on the other two cams mentioned, I can autofocus with the shutter button, release it, point the camera every which way I want to, and as long as I don't touch...
Hi, I've recently acquired Meike MK320 flash for my X-E2 and I'm having some problems using it with off camera cord. I just can't make it to work in ttl. I've double checked the cable with a different camera and a multimeter and it's fine. The LCD on the flash shows aperture and ISO changing when I adjust them on the camera, but after about one second those values reset to f5.6 and ISO200. Flash fires then at about 1/128 power no matter the settings or subject. The same thing with aperture...
Hi, I just upgrade my Fuji x-e2 to firmware version 3.0, the new feature, Interval timer shooting option is grayed out and there is a yellow timer icon and a question mark on the right side. What should I do to make it available for selecting? Thank you for your help.
I am in trouble ... I had to find out that 10% of my X-E2 pictures do have strong chromatic aberrations. The two examples are with a Fujinon 35mm and a Leica Summicron-R 50mm (Novoflex Adapter). Below two out-of-the-box JPEG examples (the RAW pictures have the same CRs). What can be the cause of these CRs? Any Ideas? Some weeks ago I cleaned the CMOS sonsor with an approprieate toolkit (Visible Dust green). Could this be the reason? X-E2 with Fujinon 35mm More dramatic example here;...
hi fellas, my first post here, yet've been here on multiple occassions. Im about to embark on almost two years bike trip in australia/asia, hence looking for light and solid mirrorless system, specifically capable in action, outdoor, street, landscape. yep, i know, thats quite a vast range of usings. basically i was all in for xt1, but the xt10 came and pretty much made some shifts in my mind. my budget is not that big - quite around 2000 gbp - around 3100 usd. opt 1: xt1 with...
Hey everybody! I am planning to make a jump from my old Ricoh GR-digital to the fuji x-system and I'm having trouble making up my mind. At the moment I'm looking at the following deals that are available here in Finland: 1. X-pro 1 + XF 18mm lens, 739,90€ 2. X-e2 + XF 18-55mm lens, 899,90€ 3. X-t10 + XC 16-50mm II, 839,90€ I study architecture so I mostly take photos of spaces/buildings/streets/etc. 900€ is pretty much my maximum budget and the lower price of the x-pro1 is definitely a plus...
