I was initially very concerned about the lack of physical aperture. In the 4000 the aperture is actually ND filters to control the light depending on shutter speed. But if you go into the physics of this, the small sensor (1/2.3", CCD) and small format mean that diffraction will start affecting the image quality, even at wide physical apertures. So the Fuji ND solution is actually very good, and I think should be adopted by other manufactuers of small format cameras (in fact I think it is). ...

I love night photos with long exposure or high sensibility...and this camera works very well at ISO 400/800 with proper light and without flash. In other conditions like a sunny day, indoor photos (with or without flash) it's simply perfect! Image stabilizer works very well also with super zoom! Features like A/P/S/M are very interesting for who wants to be a little professional photographer Problems: - Photos with the sensibility higher than ISO 800 are grainy - Without proper light (in ...

I started with finepix 9600 in 2006. It is an alrounder in the past four years. But this one is a colt. With P/A/S/M it is an excellent instrument for day in day out. Image stebilizer is a boon for super zoom. What more one should want? Magic filtres? Miniaturizations? Creative filters? Once in a while or once in a blue moon one may need it. While recent Avaters of long zooms are automatic only, this one will be at a different level. 4 AA battries are bonus than the camera specific slick ...

I bought this camera without knowing quite what to expect, but the surprise was very good. The picture quality is great, has an excellent contrast between colors. The picture is perfect, with an angle without distortion. The zoom is increditavel, the approach is perfect and undistorted mesna using the digital zoom together. I advise the purchase of the same will not have any regrets. Problems: Like any other camera features grainy image when exposed to low light.

I was a little skeptical at first when deciding whether or not to purchase this camera because I wasn't too sold on the FujiFilm brand. However after using it, I can say that this is a good quality camera. The bottom line for me is picture quality, and this delivers pretty good pictures. I took some outside shots and they came out great. I also took some shots inside and they came out good as well. The key to getting the best shots out of any camera is making sure that you have proper ...
