This is my second Fujifilm S series. I've had an S5600 for several years, and while not perfect represented very good value for money. I wanted something with more than 5MP, but must have lens threading for filters, long exposure of 15s+. I was just about to buy a Pentax K200D body for my old Pentax lenses, as Fuji seemed to have abandoned lens threading on its cheaper models since the S5600. Then I read the specs for the S200EXR. It looked like it fitted my requirements nicely, and was a bit ...

This is the 2nd Fuji Super CCD sensor camera in my family. My wife owns the F70EXR. We bought the F70 first, liked it so much that we made this purchase when it became available. I especially like the movie mode... it is not high-definition, but it works quite well for a "still" camera. I guess the hot phrase nowadays is "hybrid", to demote a camera that tries to do both still and motion pictures well. Problems: All my cameras should be this good.

I am rating 5 all, in an attempt to fix the stupid pirinchov's rating Problems: pirinchov like people who blame this camera are the problem. This camera is likely to have Chromatic Abbression problem, but other than that this is a gem with few flaws.

My last four top of the range Fuji cameras have always been a pleasure to use and I've had the most acceptable results. I've had this S200EXR for a month and find it beats anything I've had before. Having used it extensively photographing gardens and commercial building projects, the results are outstanding using both an upmarket PC and large monitor along with the Canon IP 4700 photo printer. Yes it's a little heavy but the build determines that and I don't find it a problem. I note that ...

Acquired what must be one of the first of these in the UK. This report is based on first impressions. As a committed Fujifilm digital camera user (5600, 9500 and F40 compact) I'm well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the Fuji product. I'm not familiar with the S100FS which apparently uses the same or similar lens (?). Image stabilisation, low light performance and the modes built in to the camera offer tremendous flexibility and good results for the full range of potential users ...

Hi I picked up my new S200EXR yesterday and it really is very good. It feels well balanced in the hand and the metal construction will blow away similar priced cameras. So far the the picture image quality is good. I have taken some ISO 400 shots in the office with very little noise, even at 1400 the image is very good quality. The EXR options make picture taking very simple, this camera is easy to operate, the LCD screen is very clear and has nice large menu options. The View finder is also ...

This looks to be a great P&S camera. The only things that concerns me is that with its size and weight it will be difficult to carry around, and the fact that a camera in this category should have a 3 inch LCD with more data points. The LCD seems to be its Achilles Heel and is the reason I can only give it a 3.0 for Features. Problems: The LCD is substandard.
