Opinion: This looks to be a great P&S camera. The only things that concerns me is that with its size and weight it will be difficult to carry around, and the fact that a camera in this category should have a 3 inch LCD with more data points. The LCD seems to be its Achilles Heel and is the reason I can only give it a 3.0 for Features.

Problems: The LCD is substandard.

Opinion: This is my second Fujifilm S series. I've had an S5600 for several years, and while not perfect represented very good value for money.
I wanted something with more than 5MP, but must have lens threading for filters, long exposure of 15s+.
I was just about to buy a Pentax K200D body for my old Pentax lenses, as Fuji seemed to have abandoned lens threading on its cheaper models since the S5600. Then I read the specs for the S200EXR. It looked like it fitted my requirements nicely, and was a bit cheaper than the K200D SLR body - also my old Pentax lenses are all manual.
After taking several thousand photos in under a month I've come to the following conclusions.
Good points:
Easy to use. Multiple buttons and scroll wheels are actually much quicker to operate than doing everything by menu.
Quick response in various lighting due to big lens.
Using medium resolution and enhanced dynamic range produces some great results.
Quite respectable range of usable ISO settings.
EXR high ISO low noise produces usable results at ISO 1600.
Manual zoom.
Better language support than earlier models.
Summary: This looks and feels like an SLR but it's NOT.
Use it in 6MP mode, with either noise reduction or enhanced dynamic range, and it's pretty impressive in most situations. Full resolution works well as long as you don't want to take photos of distant vegetation to print at high resolution. Low light performance is pretty good.
Ideal User: Someone wanting a camera flexible enough to learn serious photography, and eventually move on to a DSLR, but needing something that provides easy to use presets in the meantime until they develop their skills.

Problems: negative points.
Severe blurring of especially foliage. If you want beautiful high detail landscapes, DON'T buy this camera. Found out why reading review of F70EXR. It's the compromise made with the sensor.
Not so bad in medium resolution (6MP)
Quite a big heavy 'compact' to cart around.
Proprietary battery. Would much prefer AA.
Fairly slow startup, especially given manual zoom.
RAW option is buried deep in setup menu.
Not all that much cheaper than an DSLR.
No orientation sensor.
Fairly limited F stop range compared to SLR.

Opinion: SHAME on FUJI !!! they advertised this S200EXR as the improved F100S but they shrinked the sensor ,it's tiny ,pocket camera type sensor , how can they put all this great new technology in a tiny sensor , it's wasted !! nowhere is mentioned that they went back to the tiny sensor of the s9100
they hoped nobody noticed , after I noticed the quality was so poor I went to look at the specs and was surprised they changed to the smaller sensor , WHY ? I already own the s9100 and was happy to buy the s100fs ( bigger sensor and new fancier technology) so when the S200EXR came out I believed it was another improvement but they hid the change to a small sensor , TERRIBLE , I will return it tomorrow

Problems: POCKET SIZE CAMERA IMAGE QUALITY .........IN A VERY LARGE BODY
