I had this camers for less than a month. I like this camera much. It is compact and easy to use. The image quality is good and the photos looks natural. I like the movie function most. The movie is small but the quality is expand. I found it can expand to double size without great damage to the quality, very good. Problems: The image of left top corner looks darker. I think it is my camer fault. I will take it to repair.

I had the camera for about 8 months. The usb port is so poorly constructed that it snapped off, fell into the camera and shorted out the entire camera. I am told I have to replace the entire board to fix it. Problems: yes. See my mini review

I have had this camera for about 3 months. I LOVE IT! It's small enough to take it anywhere, and the metal casing is very sturdy. A word of advice though, be sure to attach the wrist strap and use it. It's very easy to drop. The pictures are great. Especially those taken outside or in very good lighting. I have taken good pictures inside, sometimes they're a little blurry. I usually take 2 or 3 in that case, one always comes out clear. Battery life is good, once you've re-charged ...

I have been using this cutie for over 10 months and I love it. Its silver body and self-hide len cover is very convenient if you use it for your family travels, which we've done a lot. UI was well designed too. Problems: The image quality is not as good as expected in low light situations.

I've had this camera for almost a year. I have gotten some great pictures with it. Like they say, you can't get a good picture if you don't have your camera with you. That's the reason I sold my Fuji S1 and held onto the 4700. I just never took the S1 anywhere because of its size. You can get great results with this camera once you learn all its "features." Feature #1 There are two aperatures, one is 2.8 and the other is 7.0. There are no in-betweens. So when there is not alot of ...

That's a great dc overall! The image quality is actually very good, better than what the reviewers on this site are saying, but it could be better. Catches more colours and light than many other digital cams, I'm sure (that's why it's also good to take night shots). The metallic casing is gorgeous. It's very compact and light (very useful when you have to carry it during travels). The User Interface is very easy to use. Problems: Storage is somewhat expensive (when it goes above 32M). Image ...

i got the camera at photoalley.com for $390, and so far so good, it is a nice design, easy to use, the four direction button is useful, it will be good for amateur photographer like me, it is unpredictable for battery life, i like the zoom, it is good enough for portrait shots, but when u take group pictures it may be a problem, can't see clearly, it is hard to take pictures in the nighttime , it is quite blurry. Problems: poor battery life, no black and white features, the focus is poor

i was looking for a cheap dc (feb 2001, got it online for ~$520). chose this one over cannon powershot s10 becasue of the video/sound recording capability and the advertised 800 ISO. the camera has been good to me so far, with a few exceptions: lack of option to have display turn on automatically, lack of option to configure shutter (you can't take pictures in rooms that are not well-lit, even with flash - they will be blured in 90% of cases). Problems: - smartmedia card wouldn't always ...
