Opinion: I find the camera easy to use after learning the menus and functions. Picture quality is to me as good as friends Nikon 950 Coolpix. Only part that bothers is smudging the monitor when using the viewfinder. My first digital camera and I feel this was a good buy. I looked at several different makes before choosing the Fuji. I'm happy
Problems: none
Problems: When the internal flash is used, the shutter does not release
until 1.5 second. I've shoot about 10 photos of my
10 months old son using internal flash. NON of them
caught a right moment ;-<.
Opinion: I enjoy the support for external flash support. Love the uncompress image quality. Hate no usb support and short battery life. Extra battery and pc card reader fix problem but at extra cost.
Opinion: I traded the MX-2700 in for the 2900 because I wanted the zoom feature and wanted a camera with a more solid feel. I love the MX-2900. It is easy to use and the picture quality is excellent. If it's portability you want however, stick with the MX-2700. Its picture quality is excellent, it's easy to use and very portable. I did a lot of research before I went for the MX-2900. Once I got it I was very pleased. For me the 2900 is it!!!
Problems: If it had a USB port, it would be perfect.
