Keeping in mind that I paid approx. $190 in in 2002 for this camera I had a lot of fun with it. Since then I took about 4000 pics with no probs at all. Quite quick AF and overall performance. I even printed 10cmx15cm pictures, which look as if they were taken on a iso200 film by a 35mm compact camera, - IMHO - very good result for a 1.3M camera! Because of an accident (see below) I replaced it with Lumix FZ20, which is rea-a-ly good. :-) Problems: A flimsy battery cover, which I accidentally ...

Hi, I've same opinion of the previous user, this camera is great, though the resolution is only 1.3 megapixels, it gives beautiful pictures .:-)) It's 3 x optical zoom and 2 x digital is good enough for me. Just valuable for daily use.

I was so surprise to read some one else post about this camera in the last few month. I bought this one 2 years ago and it still serves me well. I tought I was using it alone in the world of 3+Mp now. Its picture quiltiy is quite good so I am a bit reluctant to upgrade to a new one. If it still works I shall use it. Problems: Perhaps some problem with the balancing. But the outdoor picture is great.

Nice camera, very nice pictures. In the dark, limited by slow speeds. Rechargeable batteries last long. Problems: Had erratic electronic behavior after 1.5 years, had the camera fixed by fuji (120euros). Worked OK for 5 months, then same problem. Repair warranty was 6 weeks....

I had this camera for about a year. I bought it on clearance (it was a floor model), but after carefully examining it, it was like new, except for a few scratches caused by the employee taking off the theft protection device. I read a lot of reviews that the construction was poor. I beg to differ! I dropped this baby twice on concrete from about 4 feet and it survived both times without any change in picture quality (the lens cover came off, but I just pushed it back in)! The camera ...

I have had two of these cameras. The first one I paid $300 for. My ex wife pawned it and I still have the software, usb cable, media card and owners manuals! The pawn shop wanted $279 for the old one. I found a new one for $139. This camera takes very high quality pics and has enough settings to make it complicated if you don't do your homework. I searched many cameras before I bought this one and I liked the optical zoom and the pixel choices. I usually use the 640x480 setting for normal ...

Works VERY good when used in Macro mode. The Flash is adequate till about 9 meters. Althought not stated, this cam also takes 128mb flashcards. Good for about 400 pic's medium quality @ 1280x960 (with 128mb). Note that I couldn't see the difference between medium and high quality. There's only one little nag about this cam. When taking a picture of a brick wall from about 20 meters with max zoom you can see the picture is not exactly as sharp in the corners as it is in the middle. Also ...

I have owned one of these for over a year. It takes great pics, except in low light conditions. My family loves it. Except -- see my problem below. Problems: The lens motor went out this January, so it won't focus. The camera repair store here said that Fuji won't import the lens motors to the US, meaning the camera must go to JAPAN for repairs. Expect to pay around $200.00 for a new motor, and wait several weeks.
