If you are looking for a fairly priced, good quality first digital camera and you happen to see one of these babies in a store somewhere, snap it up! This was the first digi-cam I ever bought and I used it with pride for around two years before buying a new one. The design/build is a bit basic and it squeaks when you squeeze it, but it takes great pictures with vivid colour and it's an invaluable tool for getting to grips with the basics of digital photography wihtout being bogged down by ...

I still have this camrea, though i am thinking of ugrading to a c2100 or mavica 1000cd. I'm still holding on to this camrea because it is small compact point and shoot, and when you stick in rechargable batteries, they last at least 3 days of useage..Good picture quality..make sure you keep the following settings for the best results...Quality.(Fine) File size.(1280x960) Sharpness.(Hard) with the hard setting i can get some extra detail in outdoor shots Problems: serial cable is a bit of a ...

My 1st digital camera and thoughfor the 1st month the serial connection was frustrating, everything else about the camera was excellent and definitely value for money. Fuji makes wonderful digital cameras at affordable prices! I got a USB card reader during the 2nd month and no regrets there. Super fast! The colours are really good and brilliant while there is noise in low light, it can't be helped for this price and standard. Still, outdoor pics are sharp and top notch and I was very happy ...

I have taken some 3000 shots with this camera. Colors are very good. Pretty much noise (as with most cheap cameras). Good sharpness in the middle but less good at the very edges of the frame. Fine or Normal compression makes little diffrence. To control the shutter speed you simply trick the light meter at the front of the camera. This will give you some control. It´s a small and handy camera that you don´t have to worry about (because it´s so cheap and small). Problems: The serial connection ...

We got sharp pictures from this camera with hard setting. This camera is better than its replacement finepix1300.

I found this camera to be a very good value. Quite acceptable pictures; easy to use. Power supply conserves batteries when using Serial Port. Would have preferred MX1300 with USB, but I am well satisfied. Problems: Have to be careful not to scratch lens.

Great camera. Have had no problems. Only real problem is serial transfer is VERY slow. Bought card reader, problem solved. Problems: None
