Have had the camera for two years. Shot over 2,000 photo's. Excellent camera. Numerous photo's I have blown up to 8x11 prints and the quality is that of a 5+ megapixel camera. Have used it in all manner of photo snapping and I continue to be impressed. Bought extra lens with the camera, good quality with the camera as my old 35mm non-digital camera. Would buy again if I had to. Recommend this to any photographer from beginning to intermediate. Have rechargeable batteries (3 sets) and ...

I've had my S602Z now for almost 2 years and took some great pics with it. The camera is very easy to use and most certainly helped a novice like me to take good pics. Unfortunately my camera fell into muddy water recently and is going to be replaced by a S5500. FujiFilm has won me over with the quality. Problems: Power usage and battery life indicator coming on too late.

I have the 602Z . . . I love all of the features and, after using the camera for awhile, I've discovered how to get around some of it's pitfalls! I recommend it and the newer version S7000 . . . great cameras! This camera is packed with pro features and can do almost anything that can be done with a pro film camera. Problems: I also have a Panasonic digital with a Leica lens, and I've found that the Fuji lens is nowhere near as sharp! The only other drawback to this camera is that every time ...

I've had this camera for slightly less than a year and I'm delighted in all respects. Yes it has a lot of functions and capabilities and it takes quite a lot of effort to remember how to get the best out of it but, the AUTO function is exceedingly good when you lose your way. I can compare it with film and pleased to say that this camera produces work that it just as good. I've used it for movies too and provided that you have a decent graphics card and a tripod, the results will be excellent. ...

This is the closest camera next to a DSLR. I've owned this for ever a year now and I couldn't be happier. Pictures turn out really great. There's so many functions on this camera that I'm lost but I'm loving learning about it slowly. Fuji really thought this one out with the ability to hook up an external flash via the adapter on top or through the sync. What an awesome camera. If your looking for something dependable this is your camera. Battery life on this camera is great, a lot longer ...

Nice camera for people who like fully automatic to manual cameras. The pictures are nice and crisp although when the camera is set for red eye reduction, portrates come out with red eyes and have to be removed via the computer, not that big a deal. The camera does not do well when backlight is needed when in fully automatic mode, it must be set before the picture is taken so when in a room with bright sunlight shining in the windows - beware, all will be somewhat dark. Overall, after ...

This is my second digital camera (my first was a Leica Digilux 1 which still produces excellent results - see my review for this sadly discontinued model) and marks my move to a totally digital photographic user. The choice was based on much research to find a camera which would satisfy my needs as a natural history photographer especially in a close-up field. I have not been disappointed! The results are stunningly sharp and the colour rendition excellent. The two stage macro mode works ...

Have been using this camera for about a year now and find it an excellent choice for the serious photographer, even as a backup or second for professional work. The zoom is moderate, wish I had more range in it. The idiot light indicators for shutter speed and aperture prefered exposure are as helpful as knowing the actual numeric indicator. The camera has so many features it takes some use to learn them all and have them at your command when you need them. Problems: The only problem I have ...

I have had the 602 for 15 months, and I have taken thousands of pictures. I don't have any problem with the 6 mp interpolation, and it allows me to crop and enlarge with ease, while retaining photo clarity. I have compared wedding pictures with professional products, and people keep asking me when I will start my career in photography. I like the flexibility of 2 macro modes, and the burst modes. The 640 X 480 AVI files are lots of fun, and I have taken several for teachers to use in ...
