Recently recieved the s602z pro after using the Canon G2 at work for the last year. This camera was a gift for my 50th birthday and I must say I am more than pleased with the quality and results of this camera. It seems well designed & built though not as solid feeling as the G2. The image quality is excellent and the continuous shooting mode super fast. Being able to use the Super Macro feature as close as 1-2cm and the 6x zoom make this camera extremely versatile for nature lovers. The ...

I just took this 602 to mexico along with a 128mb sm card 2 sets of rechargeable AA's and a 20GB nixvue vista. Well since I practically had all the storage in the world I decided to run this camera through the ringer. From super macros of army ants to mind blowing sunsets, I made sure to use every single function on the camera, and more then just once. Now 1 week later and 1.6 GB's of photos later. I must say that this 602z was an absolute pleasure to use. With all the playing around I did, I ...

Made 514 pictures with one accu-set (Panasonic 1600 MAh NiMH-Accus) on a IBM 1 GB Microdrive. (About 1 MB per picture taking together about 0,5 GB). Over about 2 and 3/4 hours with TFT on. Even yet the no accu-warning is displayed. (Pictures done without flash, if I use flash, I think about 80 pictures can be done). Luzie Problems: Battery-Low warning on Accus is very late. Meaning: The warning is display and then you even don´t have the chance to take one more photo. Haven´t tested with ...

Just got it yesterday and so far it seems pretty decent. Picture quality is very good although I haven't yet tested it on the large format printer to. Controls are intuitive. Layout of everything seems pretty good, even to a southpaw. Overall I am very happy with my decision Problems: The only problem that I have is that the file naming isn't controlable. I would like to be able to just have sequential numbers as an option here. The trick of always leaving one picture on the card seems a ...

Please !!! READ all the opinions that the people above this one left. Then, come back here and I'll help you out. This camera has all the features of the Nikon 5700, Minoltas 7Hi and many other Higher-end Prosumer Digital Cameras. It's FAST (this refers to the maximum light transfer through the lens from having a large aperture like f2.8 to only f3.1 at full zoom) 6x EBC coated zoom lens is one of the BEST available. The 7Hi goes way up to f3.8 and the Nikon goes up further to f4.2 making ...

I purchased my S602 in August of 2002. I have taken close to 2000 photographs and can say that I am VERY impressed with this camera. The images I take are about 75% industrial (trains, buildings, etc) and 25% family and nature. The camera has a very nice menu system, making it a breaze to adjust the most important stuff (and it is even easier if you use the SHIFT button on the side!). I liked the fact that the camera allows a LOT of settings to be changed in manual mode, with a decent ...

This camera rocks, period. I owned a finepix 3800 and brought it back for the s602. Pictures quality is great indoors and outdoors. There are plenty of manual settings, as well as pre defined settings. The auto features are great for novics point and shooters, and manual settings for the experienced. Zoom is great, as well as taking motion videos. Problems: I'm sure I'll find something that isn't up to snuff sooner or later, but so far, I love this camera.

I purchased the Fuji 602 about six months ago along with a number of Fuji accessories. I am happy with most aspects of the camera but there are several flaws. I found the manual to be of little or no help. It looks impressive at first glance with its diagrams and pictures, but it is badly in need of editing and omits much key information. It lacks an index and appears written by someone with only a cursory acquaintance of the English language. The main problem, however, is battery life. I ...
