I bought one on ebay (no longer in stores in USA) for my daughters wedding. As father of the bride, I have unusual opportunities to take movies and stills not covered by the hired pro. I needed a small still/movie camera good for 45 minutes of VGA movie and 150 stills. Together with a 2GB Sandisk Ultra 2 CF card, I achieved my goals. Problems: I previously owned a F601Z so I am familiar with the Fuji. I was unhappy with the build quality of the F601z which froze often and was charged a hefty ...

Well I actually got this camera by accident. My mum was in Malasiya on the 8th, October and I told her to get me the sony DSC-P10 but as she was about to buy it, the stupid store guy told her that Fujifilm was more popular and was a huge seller. My mum got completely dazzled by this and so she bought it. It was slightly cheaper than the Sony as well so it would be apparent that the store guy wasn't trying to cheat my mum out. Anyway I like this camera and the 2.5" LCD screen is fantastic. ...

Well it's a great camera. Just to correct on a few posts made by other users, the microdrive this camera takes, and which is packed up with the premium kit (512 MB) is the cheapest memory available. if you look at any other memory, per megabyte the cost is lower with microdrive. for example, a 64MB CF card at about £20 is 3.2 megabytes per pound. microdrive however is about £180 for 1000 megabytes....working out at 5.5 megabytes per pound......convinced now? also considering standard cf runs ...

I like this camera, because it is small and I can take with it high quality pictures and movies. Pictures are sharp, details are clear in pictures Movie mode is excelent, but better compression is needed. Problems: I would like better quality for sound recording (or possiblity to connect external microphone) Internal mic gives poor frequency range (only up to 8000 Hz)

I got mine for £349 with the 16mb XD and 512mb MD ! This was value for money and swayed my decision, i didnt think i would buy this kind of camera but after 10mins testing it in my camera shop i was smitten. With the settings on 6mp fine i have been very pleased with the image quality and on a couple of occasions bemused to tell the difference between it and my EOS10D ! http://homepage.ntlworld.com/davidjhardy/-=my-photos=-/fuji/connorsmall.jpg My son leaping about taken without flash gave me ...

I just bought it last two week, I love this camera so much, it's handy and ease to use, and it's shape is great, specially the big colour 2.5" LCD screen, it's the best for previewing picture and movie clips, and 640 x 480 under 30fps is the main attraction for me to buy this camera, movies and pictures taken are all great, so don't condemned this camera if you bought it, nothing it's perfect, if you expecting higher image quality just go for some 12 million pixel high-end cam, try to compare ...

Corretion to last post: 1 - PAL and NTSC; 2 - Inglish operation menu; Fantastic video qualities, and superb 6MPixels. Problems: Memory cards with very high price. 1 GB IBM memory card = 15min video.

DO NOT BUY NOKIA BATTERIES FOR THE 603. I got the batteries suggested above by Jeff today - both the blb-2 and the bld3 - and neither one of them will charge in the camera. What this tells me about these batteries is a) they do not ideally fit in the camera body and b) i wouldn't be surprised if they blew up. My Fuji batteries on the other hand, purchased in Japan, make the charging light go on right away and predictably there are no problems - Jeff, where did you get this "info"? 150 bucks ...

Good camera, hard to hold. Needs at least 3x zoom. I bought it as a replacement for F403 to take better quality videos. Problems: I purchased a refurbished 1G microdrive on eBay, but M603 cannot reformat it. Error message "Card not initialized" and "Card Error". Anybody had seen such behaviour?
