I have my camera from 1 month , and i have it forever in my pocket, ready to take a photo instantly. Fuji pave the way for the future digital camera !!!!! The picture given are good, juste a little to compressed in jpeg mode. The ability to work manualy is a great improvement for this kind of camera. The use of R sensor and S sensor are visible so the dynamic range is higher than a lot of other camera and this is the first Fuji super CCD that confirm the superioty of using interpolation. A ...

Well, well, this camera certainly generates some fairly diverse reviews. It would appear to be a love it or hate situation with little in-between. I've had mine about a month now and have taken hundreds of photographs and I'm on the side of the "love it's". Having read the magazine reviews in the UK they are generally quite full of praise - some very much so - I think it was Digital Photography magazine that gave it 93%. Personally I like the pictures produced by Fuji and this camera does a ...

I've been using this camera only about 1 month now, and have been comparing its results with my friends new digital camera (rated at 3-5Mp), I noticed this F700 give out the brightest colour and high colour saturation which is good if you like your picture 'very' colourful. In movie mode you can't expect a better quality MPEG from digital camera, it is already VERY good with is 30fps compared to 10-16fps from other camera. This camera is the fastest responding one I ever seen and use, from ...

The F700 rating here is ruined by you!!! IT IS NOT A FORUM!!!!!! You can go to Fuji forum and ask the same question and you will get the answers. Here you destroy the camera ratiig. Now if one person (the first one who has the camera and rates it) gives five stars the result still will be 3 stars because it avereges. Now Othetr readers should go through this artificial forum ( there is Fuji Forum on DP review) and weed your not related to the rating question-messages and these will stay here ...

People I'm deciding wether to purchase the FUJI F700 or the CANON S50. I'm almost over the line with the F700. I just need to be further persuaded. Does anyone have an honest opinion here? What are the limitations of BOTH these Cameras. I like the F700 because of its superior Video recording. That's the only thing that stands out.

I have been shooting pictures on film\slide converting into digital using a Slide scanner for yonks. I started playing around with a 2mp Casio years ago, I have used 5mp Konica and lastly purchased the F700. I have searched this country (uk) pretty much every month since I saw it advertised - half a year ago. With a release date whch kept on being dropped!! EVENTUALLY & out of the blue I picked the camera up from a store in the east end of London. So I started oogling over the controls, large ...

I've switch to this mighty camera from my old ssssllllloooowwwww Minolta F100 (which also take nice pics but wwwaaaayyyyy toooooo slow.....). I got my F700 for a month now and take more than 100 pics... most of them are excellent quaility while i still need to learn play around of those Shuttler/Aparture Priority functions; but Auto Mode seems work things out without much problem. The main reason i got my F700 is the movie mode....dang.....can't beat it!!! 640x480 @ 30fps which is really ...

I can't find a problem with this camera. I upgraded from a 1.3MP Sony Mavica to a Sony DSC-V1 and was not pleased with it at all so it was returned. I purchased the F700 and have taken 200+ pictures and have been very impressed with the results. Red Eye has been a real problem since my wife and kids have blue eyes. The Sony had a red-eye reduction flash that would fire about six times before it took the picture. By that time the picture was taken you either missed the shot, the subjects ...

This is my second Digital camera so I can consider myself a beginner. My other camera was an Olympus D-340L I bought in 1998 and I was hoping this would be a nice upgrade and in most ways it has been. It is modern therefore it is faster, has more memory, smaller, with better and easier to understand controls and has a movie mode which is better than my digital camcorder. The only problem I have with the F700 is the image quality. The colors do look deeper but the pictures are frustratingly ...

While shooting a movie clip, maybe it's possible to zoom using only the digital zoom. In this way no noise for the movement of the objective is produced and therefore there is no recording of the noise if you are shooting a movie with audio. I have a FinePix 30i and this is possible.
