Good but now broken (see problems). I bought this camera new 3 years ago and have liked it very much. It cost a now rather expensive looking £350 and has done everything I could have wanted of a first-time digital camera. True, by todays standards, the LCD screen is small, startup times rather slow and movie quality low. Having said that, rechargable battery life has always been excellent, case is quality metal build, voice memo and composition grid overlay features have been useful and ...

This is my second digital camera, first was half MP Jenoptik only used for posting images to eBay! This Fuji is excellent and vastly superior (bought for £199 from Dixons Online). Quick to charge up, retains charge well enough to last a couple of days worth taking/editing pictures. Download to finepix viewer is a doddle, easy to manage album. I am delighted with sharp images, and cropping on the camera is very simple. Easy to operate all controls, good bright LCD viewer. I am a very happy ...

Though being the first digital camera and owing it for the last 6 months I think that this brief review may be of some help PROS Construction: 1) Great looking case, with futuristic blue lights effects. 2) The 1.5" LCD display is sharp and really well positioned Features: 1) The supplied Cradle is very useful both for charging and in trasfering data from camera to pc via USB eliminating the possibility of messing with cables unlike other cameras. 2) Its 5-Flash modes are really interesting. ...

Having used this camera before I decided to purchase one at the price of £250. The design and construction influenced me, due to it being very small slim and lightweight. While looking pretty flash and allowing me to take it everywhere nice and easily. In my opinion this camera is much better for closer shots and the performance is very good even at 2million pixels with all tiny details that you didn’t think would show up are actually visible in the picture. Shots taken at a further distance ...

Well!!! Smart little camera this..... 1, Small & compact, easily fits in pocket or my Wifes handbag(hehe). 2, Easy menu to follow and nice and clear. 3, As someone said stick to 2meg shots, it seems to do the job for me. 4, I read all the reviews for this camera before buying and there weren't many negative's, but some folk expected far better quality from this camera I think it was £250 well spent. You dont buy a Mini and hope it performs like a Porche now do you! The camera is sturdy, modern ...

Second digi for me; have a 602Z (purchased before X'mas) and it seemed logical to have a point and shoot rig as well. Like the compactness and while small is not so small as to be difficult to handle. Also the 800 and 1600 ISO's are something I value. Should do what I need... be there when I don't want to pack the 602 or the film rigs. 17-May-03: See that the 410 is an upgrade of this one; perhaps an unneeded one (... maybe to get the XD media in I guess). Still very happy with it and it's ...

although its not really a 4 mp camera it can actually interpolate a photo up to a 2304x1728 pixels thatnks to its new super ccd technology. the thing to buying digicams lies mostly in the technology. The pictures are ofhigh quality and the flash is warm and natural. my friends n i are impressed with this camera. good for beginners and forpeople who travel a lot. Problems: 1.power switch usually gets caught n turns on while slipping in its tight case. 2.too few features should u wanna ...

Nice design, very sturdy, very small, nice metallic finsih Nice cradle, power, USB combination If it was same price as other 2 MP pictures its would be a great deal (small, strong, easy to use, great battery) I paid 350 US -- and am returing it cause it ain't worth it Problems: Super CCD is a CROCK - this is a 2 MP camera nothing more -- if you take a 4 MP picture you are wasting space cause you get the same picture by taking a 2MP picture and blowing it up in Photoshop (thats all Super CCD ...
