Fujifilm FinePix F31fd
I had spent hours reading the reviews before I bought the F31. So I knew what to expect. I expected great ISO performance and I got it. I expected great battery life and I got it. I expected purple fringing and unfortunately I got that too. I wasn’t going to use auto mode so I didn‘t mind the complaints about its poor performance. But I didn’t expect it to be that bad. Auto mode uses unnecessarily high ISO which makes it absolutely absolutely useless. The same applies to most of the scene ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I am really impressed with the performance of this little marvel. For years I have been a devoted Canon user with my equipment consisting of two analog SLRs (a Canon F1n and a T-90) and three digitals (a Powershot A620, S3 IS and the disappointing A640). My first encounter with digital photography was made by A620 which was a really versatile compact producing pleasing results and it is a little unfair that I have not contributed a comment about it. The follow was quite disappointing since ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
Great camera for the money! Great in low level lighting situations, I will post some Hockey Game pics later, no flash and detail was amazing.. Easy to use, and very fast with a ton of good settings. Problems: The only thing with this camera I didn't like is you need to put in on manual and tweek it for optimal settings. The auto mode is horrible and at first people this thing doesn't take that great of pictures, but with adjustments this is one of the better camera values for the money out ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I had an S80 which took superb photos, but was just a bit too big to be comfortable in the pocket. Since buying that, a lot of new cameras have come onto the market that are just as good image-wise, but are much smaller. I was originally looking at Panasonics, Nikons and Canons, but after checking out this F31fd, I had to have it. Amazing image sharpness and exposure, intuitive interface, top quality construction, outstanding battery life, not so small as to be clumbsy for male hands, ISO ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
Excellent compact camera, + best Image quality (in compact class) + usable iso 800 (very good) and 1600 (good for small prints) + very good video mode + long life battery (over 500 shots in my camera) + tested olympus sp-550 and canon g-7 make worst night shots then F-31 (so for what they want 500$? F-31 cost only 330$ in ukraine) + recommended to all who want to use camera everywhereView review in forums Leave a comment on this review
After being dropped on concrete and surviving 2 bike skids where it it hit the floor hard, this little wonder is still chirping strong as ever. Other strong points are its excellent low light feature. I won't buy another camera without it. Great camera for kids too. My 10 year old nephew was able to use it with little instructions and was not bothered about its weight. Problems: None that really matters.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
