Bought this for my girlfriend two years ago, she loves it especially the old style viewfinder (she hates using the screen!). That said, although it takes reasonable pictures, I find the menu clumsy and the lack of manual features and ISO control a big draw back. For the price (£80 at the time) and the intended market it is a good point and shoot. Problems: None

We've had this camera for two years now, and is handy for throwing in your pocket or glove box, our family has four of these and till a few weeks ago no problems.(see below) Pictures are nice but you'll not confuse them with others taken with a higher quality camera. Problems: after about 1700 pictures, we now have horizontal lines runnig through the photos, can be seen on the computer or the veiwer on the camera. Have tried resetting to defaults and removed batteries for six days with no ...

Good cheap basic camera Problems: Shutter lag. Seems "porky" now compared to the newer ultracompact cameras. Small screen and slow to review photos.

An excellent camera if you considered the price very low.

i love this camera. it takes beautiful pictures and puts out photos that look like they were taken with something much more advanced. takes lovely macro shots, only low manual options make it a bit more limited in the field of movement. other than that the camera is most wonderful. i carry it with me everywhere! Problems: only problem i have found is that the camera is a bit slow. can be laggy so by the time the picture is actually taken you missed the shot you wanted. it isn't so bad ...

I bought this camera for my wife for the ease of use. This is our first Fuji. She got it for Christmas so we have been using it for a month, and she loves it One thing that attracted me to it was the lack of buttons, and very simple design. I have been using a Cannon S400 as my pocket camera for three years and love it. Not that it is real complicated, and no disrespect intended, but my wife has a tendency to get the Canon into a menu, or mode and not know what to do next. "What ...

I'm a professional photographer who has never owned a camera that costs less that $500.00, until now. I wanted something that accepted AA's (not proprietary lithium) and was at least 3 mega pixels. I wanted a point and shot for parties and the glove compartment of my card. For less that $150.00 the Fuji A345 is a Video, Zoom, and Marco camera. This is amazing. What will they think of next. It's easy to use and has just enough features to make one feel good about taking it on vacation as the ...

It sucks battery juice like there's no tomorrow. Love the 3:2 mode, though.

I bought this camera to replace a 2MP FinePix 2600 Zoom which was a good camera for the money, though a little clunky (thick). Unfortunately, the A345 is pretty much worse in every way. Problems: - Intial shutter lag means you miss the shot you wanted. (I took back a Kodak last year for the same issue. How can they continue to sell cameras with this basic fault?) - Very poor focus indoors, even with multiple lights turned on. - Poor flash strength/distance.
