This camera is excellent. It does the job and sometimes even better. I just got this camera 4 days ago and I love it. You can check the picture that I have taken out at: http://digital.keyfrontier.com Problems: There is a couple things that I wish the cameras feature has. Something for night shots, enery saver lcd screen, and a manual zoom within the macro.

I've made up a gallery of images taken with the A201 that can be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/bob_mcbob/ Anyone with any questions can e-mail me at bob@napigator.com Problems: The main problem is low light photography. It is necessary to use the flash indoors unless using a tripod, and low light photos often have quite a lot of noise (check out my examples at the link I mentioned before).

Got this camera for my son's 11th birthday. Was a bit sceptical at first as the construction feels a bit too plasticky. However, was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of use of the camera and more importantly, the image quality is excellent for a 2.0 Megapixel camera with a simple (fixed focus?) lens. I would rate this as an excellent entry level digital camera for people who are no experts in photography or electronic gadgets.

Excellent digital camera that keeps me happy until 10 MegaPixel cameras arrive on the market. I've been using this camera whilst caving in China and rock climbing. It has survived undamaged. I take most my shots with one hand, whilst holding the rope with the other...so its really easy to use. I have printed daylight shots upto A4 size (albeit using resampling to increase the number of pixels) and people couldn't believe it was from that little cheap digital. I find I can take 80 full res ...

Excellent point and shoot camera... Perfect for my needs... i wanted something that was small, fairly inexpensive and easy to use but still produced excellent quality pictures... this camera produced exactly that. It takes fairly clear macro pictures. The casing is very handsome. My biggest gripe is that the video recorder comes out really dark when taping indoors... outside it's prefectly fine. I also dislike that it has no sound for the videos too. Another thing I dislike is the 16 mb card ...

This camera is the best I've seen in it's price range. Pictures are excellent and downloading so easy a monkey could it.Its small anough to fit in even Britney Spears hipster pocket(as i wish!). The controls are a bit fiddley if you want to catch something different but for point & shoot it's cool the 20s Video capture is cool if u are messing around out side if not a little grainy but not bad, useless though unless you have good light. Cost a bit extra €350 because with VAT(value ...

Picture quality is far better then I expected. Indoor pictures taken with the flash are fine and I haven't encountered the same problem another user has encountered with white spots appearing on the picture. Realistically a larger capacity card is required, e.g. 64 meg will store 82 high quality pictures, as I found the supplied 16 meg card too small for my needs. Problems: Can't seem to take pictures when external power supply is used but can view pictures.
