An excellent starter camera, easy to use with good image quality. I wanted to be able to carry this around in my pocket whikst out trail riding on my motorcycle to record my trips ( and crashes!) it's perfect. Problems: Digital zoom is of limited use. Would go for an optical one but the extra cost is a factor.

Used it for about 4 months now. Have used it in the snow. It takes great outdoor pictures. I also find it easy to use. It connects to iphoto with absolutely no problems. Totally painless. I use rechargable batteries and it lasts a long time. Indoor pictures are as sharp though. The tiny flash works hard, but the light coverage is so-so. Still, I usually shoot outdoors where there is plenty of light. For the price, it's a nifty camera. Sure, I've used better digital cameras which offer better ...

I was looking for a small lightweight camera to carry everywhere, and that's exactly what I got. Decent pictures for a great value, and cheap enough for me not to worry about caring for the camera. It doesn't perform well in low light settings, and the auto flash seems a little flakey. This camera also eats batteries fast. Rechargable NiMH batteries would be a good investment. Problems: Poor battery consumption.

Finepix A 201 is a good camera only for outdoor shooting as it lacks indoor capability. I am very disappointed, when I took the pictures indoors no matter what the professionals says..I find this camera useless indoors. But it is quite handy as it fits in my pockets and video mode works fine only outdoors and if you are looking for a outdoor shooting camera this is it. It gives a superb pictures even in VGA mode selected. You can check some of my shots taken in micro mode and outdoors..with ...

I take alot of photos so my husband bought me this camera for my birthday. I do like it alot. The best feature I really enjoy is the quality of the photo on the macro setting. I have found that it is easy, and not knowing until later, that the macro button can be moved if not careful. I would recommend this camera to anyone. Problems: The only problem is the battery usage but it is with all digital cameras...if you use the LCD alot, the battery life is sucked tremendously! The first time ...

I purchased this camera to take images for uploading to my website. I thought that the image quality of the VGA settings would be good enough? They are if you don't use the digital zoom control. All this does is degrade the image totally, if you need to crop your images? buy a model with an optical zoom or take your pitures on the best settings (2.1megapixel) and crop them later in a graphics package. The camera is very easy to use, small enough to take anywhere, the batteries last for a ...
