This camera is FANTASTIC! I bought my 6800Zoom on May 4th 2001 after researching the digital camera market for 2-3 months. My camera was stolen on May 5th 2006, which led me to find this website for reviews. In those 5 years I took 8,608 photos, audio & video files! The construction is excellent and the colour quality is fantastic. In terms of features, its good enough for a beginner but for frame shots, it is lacking in speed. Got it for SDG 750. Overall rating for this is excellent. Problems: No suitable for pple with huge hands. Diff to control the zoom.

very good performance in this camera , i under estimated the capablities of digatal photography very impressed with the ease of functions on the fuji 6800 , prev camera was fuji mx 1700 , and nikon f80 went totally digital after buying this camera Problems: none

Very nice camera, and easy to use for an amateur like me. Just don't forget to resize pictures if you're going to use them on the internet, but when printing it great! Problems: Long startup time when using LCD and flash together.

Awesome camera, many features, "TINY" its well worth it!!!! I got it thursday the 30th of August from Costco for $699 and have been enjoying it since!!! GREAT CAMERA!!! Problems: None so far

I bought the 6800Z in Singapore last week(April 2001) for S$1250 plus S$100 for 64MB, at the infamous Sim Lim Towers. The photos in 3MB mode have well and truly exceeded my expectations for an ultra compact digicam. Absolutely Fabulous. After 2 months of research, I believe there is no real peer to the 6800z.
