Opinion: The quality of pictures is good. I enjoy the many multimedia capabilities
such as shooting short movies, audio recording, audio captioning and
listening to mp3 music.
Problems: All the controls for brightness, contrast, hue, color and so forth are
greyed out when it works as a web cam. The image is extremely dark
and there is no way to correct this. I think it is just a driver problem.
I installed the software on a computer running WinXP and on another
running winME with the same problem.
The technical support at Fuji Canada is terrible: I called many times and I
always got answering machines.
Opinion: I purchased this camera today after returning the sony digtal camera I got for christmas. Better construction, much more attractive and by far loaded with better features. The 16 mb memroy card is nice compared to sony's stupid 4mb stick. The quality of the pictures is better. With added mp3 feature you may want to get another memory card. I plan to get a 32mb card for pictures and use the 16mb card for mp3's. This camera is a must buy if your intersted in having all the bells and whistles for a great price.
Problems: No problems yet.
Opinion: A GOOD MACHINE FOR SNAP SHOT
VERY EASY TO USE
CHEAPER THAN BUY A S*NY BRAND MP3 WALKMAN!!
Problems: 8CM MACRO QUITE DISAPPOINTED
Opinion: Superb as a take-everywhere camera. Quick to first shot as there is no zoom and the lens is fixed. Also no out-of-focus shots when taking quick "snaps". Quality is fine to say 6x4 inches on a decent printer. OK up to 8x6 inches for portraits. AA batteries very convenient. Quick download using supplied software. MP3 Ok but hungry on Smartmedia space.
Problems: Having a fixed lens (and therefore small aperture), low-light performance and flash range are poor.
