For 2 Megapixels, you get the most bang-for-the-buck. It not only gives great 4x6 prints but a good 8x10!!! Plus with the macro mode you can do some great things that a lot of more expensive cameras can't offer. The Fujinon lens is real nice on this camera. Takes a great wide shot and close up. The features are easy to use and simple to master in no time I knew all of the menus. Great Camera and AWESOME VALUE!!!!!! Problems: The ONLY thing I didnt like was the xD Memory. It makes the ...

After using this digital camera every day for the past year, I have conclude that if there is any camera you will buy for the 1-300 dollar range, it is this one. Not only is this camera a good deal for $200, but it creates a better 4x6 than the DSCS85 Sony 4mp. Comparing it to other cameras in the same price range, the Olympus D 520 and 380L <chuckle> give you some of the most discolored, misexposured, pixilated pictures. The only other cameras that come close in picture quality are the ...

The image quality is outstanding for a 2 mega pixle camera.I've showed some photos to very experianced people and they were impressed by the quality.Read the manual FIRST,use the camera for awhile then reread the manual several times. The focusing brackets on the screen is a very useful feature,as you can get the focus exactly where you waht it.Don't bother using alkaline batteries except for emergency use. I am using 1700mah Nimh and got 2 weeks and 300+ pictures with lots of flash and ...

Bought this camera because of recommendations from a friend and also where I bought it. A little hard to figure out at first, but very simple once I played with it a while and studied the manual. Indoor pictures have come out extremely good. Software is a little complicated and detailed. Need to take some time to read up on everything it has to offer. Pictures are easily loaded from the camera to computer instantly. Problems: Apart from the camera being a little bulky there are no technical ...

I received this as a Christmas gift though got it a week before the 25th. I wanted a camera that I could use on excursions that won't weight me down with extra film canisters. Construction: I gave it a 4.5 as I'd perfer something that wasn't all plastic but for under 200 bucks, it's not that big of a deal. I also like the lens cover that protects the lens from scratches and nicks. I haven't seen that on any sub 200 buck model during my search for a great digital camera. Features: Very nice ...

Available in the 2002 Xmas season for under $200, extremely good value. Three friends have purchased them, two novice and one experienced users. The flash is particularly well metered, giving excellent results. The camera functions are fast, and the autofocus is usually on the money. Cheap rechargable NiMH AA batteries give excellent performance, even with the LCD in frequent use. This is perhaps the ideal entry level and/or point-shoot digital zoom camera. It should to be methodically ...

I thought about buying a FinePix A203, but I bought a 204 model at last... I think that it is good cam for a novice user, althought I think that menu use is a little confusing... You shoot - you'll get nice picture if you take it right, and it is good. So, if you are looking some "near budget" cam it is might be a good choice for you. Problems: Not something critical...

owned this camera for a few months now and its great photos come out so sharp and crisp. All Fuji need to do is improve the LCD screen and redeisgn the zoom control similar to the S304 infact if they use the some specifications of the S304 then this camera will be the best on the market. So come on Fuji we are waiting for such improvements Problems: LCD has low resolution no AF illumination and no ISO 100to 400

I spent hours on end last Christmas shopping for the best digital camera. This camera had just come out and due to new technology, it was priced dramatically lower than other competing cameras. The one thing I have noticed is that since December 2001, this camera's price has not dropped at all, whereas every single competiting camera (out at the time) has dropped a great deal. What does that mean?? Many competing cameras came out around the same time and one of them is still maintaining its ...

Thinks I like about it: Picture Quality: I was pleasantly surprised how much detail I was getting with this camera compared to my old HP Photosmart 315. Battery Life: I can get about 2 days of frequent use out it on rechargables, using all features and 50/50 optical/lcd view finder. Portability: This camera is very light. It only takes two AA size batteries, which help keep the weight low. Speed: This camera is quick to focus and complete a shot once it has been turned on. This was the main ...
