Opinion: Perfect Beginner Kamera. Good Box, Metall
Problems: Pictures of Blitz Light not good
Opinion: I definitely like this camera and can recommend it.
I have scouted many comparisons, and its feature collection is very good (good resolution choice, manual focus, manual Aperture/Timing settings, white balance, BestShot presets, AF-Help lamp,...)
Ease of use through menus is very good.
Excellent is also the speed of initialization and delay on shooting.
I still have to get used to the right autofocus use, sometimes the pictures are blurred. But I am sure it is not because of the camera but of myself who has to get used to digital photography vs. analog (my 1st digicam).
I love the 128 MB which come with it!
Problems: I strongly miss video output from the camera.
I miss sound feature for video (but I have a digital film camera, so I don't really need it).
The PC software is a bit clunky to use with an approach based on automatically generated html pages, but it stores also the settings of each image.
Opinion: Very good picture quality.
Easy to Use and excellent to put in my inner jacket pocket. It fits in a normal shirtpocket even if its a little bit heavy for that.
Image size at max quality is abot 1.6MB only .JPG format (as far as I have discovered anyway).
All in all I'm very satisfied with the camera. (Wondering how long that will last...)
Problems: When I use both built-in memory and MMC I can only fill/download from one source at a time. Have to pick out the additional card to download from internal memory.
The plastic(?) shield covering the battery fell off. Ok I dropped the camery and the shield is just cosmetic. However it should stick better. On the bright side there was no damage otherwise to the camer, it still works perfect!
Opinion: This is my 1st digital camera, very good one after comparing with canon S30.
1) Small, light weight, slim
2) gd for beginner because there are many preset setting for various type of pics such as portrait, scenery, flowing water etc.......
3) Very easy to use
4) Pic quality is sharp
5) Built in memory as backup in case your memory runs out
6) Use sd/ mmc memory provide flexibility
Problems: 1) Unable to get date on photo despite camera come with date features.
No other problem encountered
Opinion: This is a second digital camera which start from Sony P-30. When I hold the camera it's well-fitting in my hand, not too big or too small with the compact size and steel casing. The great are manual functions as manual focus (that u can quick shot with any distance which far from 1 m), manual aperture adjust (but only 2.6 and 5.0), manual shutter speed. The others that there r many best shots that can choose for any conditions.
Problems: bad sides...... :(
1. No Video out (differnt with spec. shown in this web)
2. Very low focus in low light. But can compensate by Infinity Focus for general shot.
3. Limitation of movie clip only 30 sec.(differ. from Sony P-30) and no sound
4. No time and date STAMP..... (It should have)
5. ..... Not yet found
But in my opinion this is still r a good one.
