Opinion: It is very cost-effective digital camera.
Multiple and practicle function compose of wide range zoom,
macro mode, scene mode(there are 31 scenes!),available for external filter(43mm) because of non protruding lens(lens move in the camera body only) , support microdrive type2, swiel lens 270 degree, USB port & photoloader(very quickly for transfer file), support external flash, dramatic use for pamoramic view.

Problems: it has not view finder is a major problem, although using other digital camera rarely use the view finder.
Two problems occur due to lack of view finder when you stay in the bright light source or in the dark place.

Opinion: Excellent functionality, fantastic storage (w/Microdrive), one of the rare 8x optical zoom, easy to use

Problems: Bad battery life, alkalines last less than 40 shots...rechargeable NiMH is a must...probably true for all digital cameras. LCD not usable in low-light conditions

Opinion: Nikon coolpix in a casio outfit
Nice camera.
i baught it after a long internet research, because of the superb zoom, and the Nikon like features took me in.
very small, compact, good iso range (80 - 320), many manual modes, metering etc'.

Problems: No viewfinder!!! you know this, so take into account. bad visibility in the night.
!!!no problems encountered in day pictures!!!
