Opinion: It's has some of the best features for a compact digital camera. A host of built in filters and incluses picture examples on screen! The unit is far too slow at taking pictures, there is a lag of around 1 second and about 2sec to write the image back to the card. Therefore, continuous shooting or sports photography is not a valid option. The reviewing of images is quick and nice zooming features even if they are a little fiddly! I guess it is pretty good value for money but, there are better camera out there of the same price and year of release with are better, such as the Pentax EL200. Has the look and few of a normal camera and produces better images than the Casio.

Problems: In warm environments the viewing LCD panel goes red when attempting to take a picture. With a very limited shutter speed to aperture causes the problem, an optical viewfinder would have solved this problem. However, you would lose the flexibilty of a rotating lens. The unit takes far to long to power up. Images aren't the greatest for the price.

Opinion: A very good camera indeed. In a good lighting condition, the picture quality is very good. And the macro is very powerful, any begineer could produce studio-quality pictures in no time at all.

Problems: Poor low-light focusing. Images in low light tends to be grainy.

Opinion: I'm very satisfied with the quality and functions provided at this price. Easy to use except a bit bulky.

Problems: time lag after using flash and during startup

Opinion: My favorite camera so far. If they made a 3MP version of this camera I would buy it in a second. The qv3000 takes better pictures, but is nowhere near as flexible and fast as this camera.

Opinion: This is great camera. The swiveling lense allows you to get photos you can't with a regular camera and you can not beat the micro drive for storage. I liked it so much I am ordering a QV2900 for a longer zoom

Opinion: The rotating lens is an excelent feature and makes getting photos so easy. My wife not knowing a thing about it picked it up and was able to immedately start using it with little assistance. Would recommend to any one

Opinion: It has the most functions among all DCs, which seems wonderful. The price is cheap enough to attract the customer. However, the biggest problem is the picture's quality which is especially not good in sharpness. Maybe it is because of the quality of lens and CCD. The best part is the swivel function of the lens. Another problem is the limited range of the flash.

Problems: Most frequently encountered was to take off the cap. Everybody will forget that.
