i bought this camera many years ago because my fuji A800 had insufficient manual adjustment and was slow. i remember i paid it double of the fuji but was worth it. the shutter is still fast by today standard and was razor sharp back in the days, all the controls are very fast also menu and flash. manual controls are somehow limited (2 apertures) but you have all you need, fast burst mode, 60'' esposition... and is very confortable to set using the 2 dedicated buttons on the side. the battery ...

I would like this camera greatly IF it gave me sharp still pictures but it doesn't even after a so-called lens assembly replacement by Casio UK. So it has gone back a second time. I am not the only one to have had this problem ... see the Casio talk forum ... I am desperately hoping that they have fixed it this time. Problems: Sent back to Casio UK twice for correction of blurry still pics.

smallest camera with manual control and optical finder. Good quality for pocket camera. Suitable for daytime candid shots, usable at low light. Better than Pentax Optio (which are brothers of Casio Exilimi). Tip: in order to use more aperture values, put camera in S-mode (not A, since it gives only TWO available aperture settings) - You can see A-value on LCD, and could fine tune it. Good for MPEG-4 video (with the latest firmware), but switch-off AntiShake, which is really bad. Good battery ...

I bought this camera for my daughter and I love it. I plan to purchase one for myself. The photos are crisp and clear. I never thought that I would want to buy a Casio Digital Camera. Very easy to use. Problems: None

High potential but falls well short. Thought this would be the ideal mini camera for me because of it's manual features, great interface, superb LCD, and long battery life. But the bottom line is picture quality (or lack thereof). The photos look very "digital" and are way overprocessed. Even with contrast and exp comp turned down ALL highlights are clipped and then some. Oh one more thing, the video is a joke. I'm not picky when it comes to video but that was painful to watch. Exchanged ...

Pictures taken with wide angle (even at ISO 50) are unsharp at the corners of the frame, if you compare them to those taken by Z750 (obviously at same settings and same ISO 50). Only using macro mode or zoom, pics are really good. Therefore I give 4 regarding pics quality. Videos are unusable, becouse of horizontal stairstepping lines, looking like twisted ropes moving like sea-waves while video is running. “High quality” vids are even worse than normal quality; moreover vids taken with wide ...
