I had a S1 and an S3 so this is a follow on for me. Great metal case and S1.(S3 coating wore off) The benifit of toggling between flash options without going to menu. Wonderful portability of a true pocket (even shirt) camera. Will go anywhere. Don't often fiddle with the options in menu and use it on auto settings. Have done A4 enlargements which can be better than you thought possible. The compromise is of course, size...which can't have manual ext selection. I wouldn't mind it with a fixed ...

For some unknown reason, at the moment it is only possible to purchase (on-line) the Casio EXILIM EX-S600D "DivX-Edition" in Germany at 'amazon.de' which meant that I had to have it delivered to a Russian friend of mine who lives in Germany. But with a price of EUR 229 (USD 293) including a 512MB SD-Card, I thought that it was worth the trouble. I also bought the Casio EXC-CAS1 which is a very nice black leather protective case. This camera really surprized me. Exactly what I was looking for. I have a Nikon D70 and this is now the perfect side kick. The video quality is great especially considering the ultra compact MPEG4 compression. I've seen some complaints regarding the docking station - for me this is not really an issue. I love the quality, menus and feature set. Great little package!
