Casio Exilim EX-S12

Opinion: Decent camera with bad movie video function. I have bought this camera mainly for its HD video function, but was totally disappointed. The video recording is restricted to 10 minutes length and the videos recorded in HD are out of sync with audio.
The photos shot with S12 were actually good and the big crystal clear display is also a plus.

Opinion: How to rekord the maximum video in my card 8 gigas, just 10 minutes ?

Please send me how to rekord the max video on my card.

Opinion: I found EX-S12 does take unlimited movies so I happily got the camera and am very satisfied with it. It turns out the asterisk noting limited movie length on the specifications only appplies to the U-Tube mode. (All other movies are only limited to size of memory card). see manual page 189 http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=1&cid=001005021.

Opinion: My previous digicam was a Casio EX-Z750,which i loved (alas i sat on it and it broke) So I bought the S12 as a replacement. It is a good camera with the same friendly user interface.

But... BE WARNED... unlike other Casio digicams, which are only limited by the size of your memory card, the length of movie clips on the S12 is limited to 10mins. THat's finde for most, but longer movies are way useful for recording seminars, training sessions etc. Seems strange to reduce the specification of a line of cameras.

So I took mine back. Time to go shopping for a different camera.
