I have had my P700 for about 6 months now and taken about 4000 photos with it. It isnt perfect but for what it cost me I (£200) think its a great buy. The 4x zoom is handy but it does mean the wide angle isnt quite as wide as some 3x cameras. The preprogrammed settings in 'best shot' give a nice range of results. Batteries seem to last well even with flash and I picked up 2 extras new for £16 so I've never run out yet. The flash can take quite a while to recharge at times. Image size seems ...

Why can Casio put a PC outlet on this littlle beauty but Nikon and Canon can't. I can back up any of my pro lighting jobs by pluging my remote into the PC and flash my studio lights to get great results. No PC on my Rebel Digital either. This is BIG , and it sets this camera apart and above the rest. Great built in special effects. My 11X14s looks great. Noise in the viewer, not on the prints. Zoom on the video is iceing on the cake. Shame on you Nikon,Canon. Extra batteries for $24.00 . ...

Sended back after almost 2 weeks of testing because of too much noise in mostly pictures, especially indoors. The nosie may be the so called "colour noise"...not to confuse withe the ISO noise! Still recommand this camera to anyone that neverminds this issue! Problems: No problems!

superb little camera! fast autofocus, many features, easy handling Problems: slower startuptime than expected pictures are a bit "cool", but after setting the contrast and saturation presets higher it's fine.

Excellent little camera, apart from two defects encountered. Problems: - Noise even at lower ISO settings - RAW, very slow and not accepted by Photoshop

This was the camera I was looking for—a 'big' camera in a small package. I have used it for 2 months only but so far it exceeds all my expectations. This camera is loaded with features and I have to admit that I haven't tested them all yet, so I can't guarantee the usefullness or quality of them. What I like most of all so far is the big lens that enables me to skip the flash more often than before. The big and crisp LCD display is superb too. And I have to admit that I like the cool look too ...
