I've used this camera for two years now, and it's become my primary vacation camera. It mates well with a Raynox pro wide-angle converter via the 43 mm lens threads, which does create some flash problems that can be overcome with a mini-softbox setup. To me, the camera is vaguely reminiscent of the old Rollei 35 mini cameras, both in size and capabilities. Overall, I've been quite pleased with the camera's performance and regret that Casio didn't seek to develop this model further. Problems: ...

This is an amazing little camera...pure and simple! Its ability to shoot macro shots at 1cm, easy menu system, well-placed exterior button controls, great feature set, which includes an assortment of colored filters PLUS a ND filter, full manual controls, 5x interior zoom lens (threaded, by the way), and swing-out/swivel 2" LCD and its tiny size, make this a little gem of a camera. It needs to be kept at ISO 50 for its best quality photos, so if you enjoy shooting in low light without ...

Nice small camera with a lot of BIG features at a down to earth Price. I use this as a second camera as my other is a bit more bulky. Takes great shots and nice videos for a camera that could fit in your pocket. Swivel design on the LCD is nice as well as I can hold the camera at just about any angle and still see the shot I am taking. Ergonomics on this is great. Very simple to operate. My 5 year even takes great pictures with this camera. ( she needs work on the videos though . . too much ...

This camera is fantastic. It´s so small that you can take it everywhere with you and it still offers a lense with a gorgeous zoom and the objective stays in the camera body. I have seen so many cameras with dust entering the body through these extruding tubes. The simplicity of the menus, the fast acces buttons and the example screens for the non-pro-users, and last but not least the image and video quality. Not only for the ladies, this is the "little black thing to wear everywhere".

Brava Casio! Problems: A 400 ASA c'è un notevole rumore ...

Have upgraded myself from coolpix 3700 to this beauty. Haven't used it much but what ever little I have seen and experienced, I will agree with Osella's comments more or less. As for my comments, they are being reflected in my ratings of this camera. Problems: Since quite a long time, I have been toying between Canon A95 & Panasonic FX-7 as a secondary camera to my existing coolpix 3700 . Then all of a sudden, I saw this and immediately fell for it for the looks of it. However, I feel ...

Phenomenal! That's about it really! Only had mine for a couple of days, but it is incredible on picture quality. OK, there's no TIFF option, but for this kind of camera that's a bit OTT anyway; and when the images on top-quality JPEG are THIS good, frankly who cares. Background detail is very, very good; even down to the fact that you can differentiate different branches of treetops over 500m away from the camera! Compare THAT to any Fuji... I changed to this camera from the Optio SV ...
