HelloIm having a week long trip to germany and switzerland this january and was considering whether to buy filters for my camera for some landscape photography. The thing is that i am very new to this topic and obviously not sure what money to invest in a Nd and a CPL. I am not even aware which one of the two is a must. Since i am on a budget i was looking into some aliexpress offers that were around 30$ but many people tend to claim that budget or cheap filters would not do any good (even...
Hi, I have a Canon 760d which I have got on well with. I have recently had issues with a sigma 18-125mm lens failing to auto-focus. I ended up buying a refurbished replacement identical lens of eBay which made a strange buzzing noise when I turned the camera on. Thinking the lens was faulty I sent it back to be repaired. The repairer said that they did not find any issues with it but changed the control board anyway. Whilst waiting for it to be repaired I borrowed a friends kit lens. This...
I'm considering a crop body, maybe the 77D, to compliment my 6D. Are the 45 focus points a large benefit for static shots or mostly beneficial for moving objects? I've also looked at the T6i and T6s with 19 focus points. I do some landscapes and night shots with my 6D and would like a medium priced crop for birding and walk around shots. Thanks,Tom Kelley
My Canon EOS 760D camera is stuck in Servo AF mode in movie shooting and I cannot get it out. Ive tried to take out the battery, completely reset the camera ect but nothing seems to get it out of this mode. I have no idea how to fix it! It seems as if my camera may be glitching as when I try to turn it off with the switch it will not turn off and the only way to turn it off is to remove the battery. Any ideas on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
I'm trying to find out if anyone has used an m42 mount lens on the EOS R, using the EF to R mount adapter that you can get with the camera. I was trying to use a chipped m42 to EF adapter, which works on my canon T6S with no issues, and lets the camera know that there is a lens on it. When I try to use this with the EOS R the camera turns off and on and can not be used... I have been able to use my old m42 lenses with an adapter with no chip, but some of the manual focusing systems don't work...

Somebody stole my original charger and battery while it was charging in a McDonald's while I was in the toilet :( I cannot afford the prices of brand new or even used Canon ones (used ones barely cheaper than new.) When I had a Fuji Camera the battery life was so low that I used 2 X-Pro spares that wre as good if not better lasting than the original. So I need a charger and a battery that the 750D will recognise and display the charge on the LCD - I have read that on some Canon cameras that...
i have been attending my local Cars and Coffee shows recently and have been shooting cars there. I have a Canon T6s with a 18-135 right now. I want to get something crystal clear with a fast autofocus system. What would you recommend? I’d like to stay under $500. I grade all my photos in Adobe Lightroom, so clarity is important. I post on Instagram @MNCarPhoto.
