Guys, I want to buy mid range SLR. From what I heard from my friend, Pentax is actually very good for lower price (especially the 2nd hand). In some countries, 2nd hand is only €400ish Now my question is, providing the price is the same, which 1 is better K-3 or 70D or D7100? I dont take video, and mostly I go take pictures in the city How about the lens quality, for example I like my friend's Sigma 18-35 Art on Canon, how is the Pentax premium lenses in comparison with Sigma Art series,...

I am trying to improve my modest studio lighting techniques and would like to be able to tether my 60D to my laptop, a Toshiba Satellite P70-A, and use my Corel PaintShop Pro X6 program in full screen. The issue is that when I follow, what I believe to be the correct sequence for tethering, I can only get the current images on my card, and I am not able to view individual images as they are shot sequentially. I have to physically disconnect one of the leads to active the camera again as it...

With emergence of high end cellphones, capable of 4K video recording, has resulted in DEATH of camcoders at consumer level. Can Canon 70D be used as a regular camcoder? Just like the way camcoders are capable for taking photography, but cannot take the place of DSLR. However Canon 70D has all the capabilities that of a Camcoder, except for 4K recording. So, what does a camcoder can do which Canon 70D cannot? If I place my Canon 70D on a tripod and record a 3 hour concert (offcourse I will...

Hi everyone! I want to buy a mid-range camera, what you'd preferably advise me- 70D or 760D Rebel T6s? :-| 70D have a lot of advantages that I fit including a wonderful opportunity to shoot the videos. At the same time, 760D Rebel T6s, it's just a new model, but it has less pics per battery.Besides, Canon 70D is almost two years ago and that's why I'm confused. I was also attracted by the DIGIC processor 6, which is mounted on the 760D Rebel T6s..Is it too strange to have in 2015 have an old...

Hi! Is there anyone with experience with IR photography with the 70D? I've bought one of the cheap filters just for fun to test it out before I invest in the Hoya filter, but I was wondering if the camera works poorly with this type of photography then I'd just have to figure something else out.... I hope someone has some answers for me!=)

My Tamron lenses suddenly have image stabilization issues on the 70D (not my old 60D) and I suspect something is off with the lenses playing together with the camera. Now I found there are tons of threads and issues related to Tamron and 70D all over the internet (though not my specific issue). The sudden occurence of my issue on two lenses simultaneously lets me believe I accidentally changed a setting (or the camera did). I saw in the custom functions menu there are some auto focus related...

Right now I can get a refurbished 70D from Canon with the 18-55 STM for a good price. For about $400 more I could get the 18-135 STM. I already have a Canon EF 28-135 and on DxOMark the 28-135 is not as sharp as the STM lenses but compares favorable in other areas especially distortion and chromatic aberration. I have an assortment of other lenses but consider my 28-135 my walking around  lens. Other things I need to consider, I am a hobbyist and I don't need pro quality and secondly I don't...

Hello All,I have a simple question that I have been having a difficult time finding an answer to…just how much of a difference does a full frame camera make in relatively low light? More precisely. If I owned a cropped sensor camera and a full frame camera with identical lenses and mounted each to a tripod looking at a subject. What would the approximate difference be in the settings I can use? Let’s say, I mounted a Canon 6D(FF) and a 70D(cropped) with a prime lens, like the Canon 50mm 1.4....
